Problem is its probably too little too late for Goose.

Should've turnt up much earlier. I'm glad he's playing back to his circa 2010 Santos form.. now to keep it and stay injury free.

Which Ganso? The one that plays for SP or the one that posts here? Because I think Goal Legacy legend Ganso would do a lot better.

Or we could nicely ask our opponents to slow down and not press him. Then he'll be awesome.
lol I heard Seedorf wants to join Fla.

Rio teams are not having the best luck, aside Fla's little Copa do Brasil celebrations, there hasn't been much to celebrate this season/year.

I haven't heard anything about that Seedorf rumor but I think he might be done playing football. I think he's ready to move on to coaching.

With the exception of our performance in the first eight months of the year, this year's Carioca sides have been awful. I don't know how such a mediocre side like Flamengo won the Copa. Actually, I do. They were dead against Cruzeiro until Dede gave them an absolute gift. But at least they were mediocre as opposed to Flu and Vasco who are still battling relegation.

There was a huge brawl at the Atletico Paranaense x Vasco game. Assholes from both sides decided to meet up in an empty section of the stadium (dividing the two sections of fans) and beat the shit out of one another. It took at least five minutes before the police showed up. It was crazy and embarrassing.

The commentators were talking about how the municipal government decided to not use the policia militar since it was a private function. Supposedly there was private security working the game but that seems like BS.

How can these people be that incompetent?

Seedorf got a standing ovation when he was subbed out at the end of the game today. We still have a chance at a Libertadores spot.

Vasco or Lanus, please win.

Its such a joke.. Ultras in Brazil are still in the dark ages.. Its disgusting and they usually have more power than the police anyways.

Flu and Vasco officially relegated, and their best hope at anything is Botafogo Laughing

Santos have signed Vargas on a one year loan deal from Napoli, his loan to Grêmio expired and since the Italian team still needed to pay some of the Rafael money, they loaned Vargas to Santos to cover some of this debt. There is a catch, if in the next transfer window Napoli get a really good offer for him, he is out in the next day, no questions asked.

LOL so Portuguesa fielded a suspended player and might lost 4 points which means they would be relegated instead of Fluminense..

TBH.. Unimed probably bribed them to do it, cuz theres no way Portuguesa would be incompetent enough to field a suspended player with a relegation battle hanging in the balance.

Flamengo might also lose points because they fielded a suspended player (Andre Santos) in their last game.

If Flamengo and Portuguesa lose points and Vasco gains three points from the ATL Para game/brawl (very unlikely) then Flamengo would also be relegated.  rofl

Lusa player was automatically suspended for receiving a red card. He didn´t play that game. He can then play other matches UNTIL he is judged and the decision published. (it´s always like that for every player... if he is red carded, he doesnt play one match automatically, but the STJD can suspend the player for more matches, even if the decision happens 2 weeks later and the player already played again before the decision). STJD made the decision late on friday. CBF published it only on monday. It should NOT be valid until monday. But of course, to save Fluminense and Carioca football, they will change the rules. btw, the player entered the match against Gremio at 32 minutes second half. THAT will be used to save Fluminense from relegation... rules are rules. Brazilians love to defend that only in absurd situations. And btw, rules are rules, and in Brazil many rules are CONFUSING because Brazil loves to create difficulties to sell facilities. wrote:

So at least we're through to the Libertadores qualifier.

That means we don't have to sell half our team anymore, just a quarter.

While's the new Bahia coach is Marquinhos Santos.

Rumors that ex-Goias coach, Enderson, will take the Flu job.
