Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
Only difference is that Zlatan has won the league for 8 of the last 9 years
Anyways, I agree. It was only England.

Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
Ibra has the obvious advantage of strength and height, and he is hard to mark. Combined with his lethal accuracy and power, he is very effective. Falcao, on the other hand, relies more on dribbling skills and speed to score goals.

Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
As an inter fan, I've been blessed to see players such as baggio, Ronaldo, vieri, Adriano, Recoba, crespo, eto'o, and of course, Diego milito. But the one player I've always thought was the most individually talented was zlatan ibrahimovic. And I'm so glad to see him finally get the recognition he's always deserved . I continuously find myself in awe of what the big swede does on the pitch, he truly is a once in a lifetime footballer

20 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
I believe he even created a record for most no.of assists in a single CL game.
One man team if there's any.He really is ageing like fine wine at the moment.

Ibrahimovic criticised by French blind institution
Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been criticised by the French federation of the blind and visually impaired [FAF] in its calendar “La bourse ou la vue”.
The calendar features personalities from various walks of life in France and stresses the role of money in society.
"The question we want to ask is simple: in what kind of society do we want to live?," said Vincent Michel, the president of the FAF, on the federation’s website.
"The one where money is king that crushes everything in its path and in particular the weak? Or do we want to live in a society more just, more human, respectful and caring of individuals and of progress for everyone?"
The Paris Saint-Germain striker appears on the February page of the calendar and is facing criticism for the large quantity of money he earns at the club.
The 31-year-old’s salary sees him pocket more than €1m a month for the French side.
“Mr. Zlatan Ibrahimovic... Do you know that with your yearly salary, you could fully-fund the Institute's Vision, its 250 researchers and personnel who work in the department of research on diseases of the vision?” added Michel.
Former Lyon and Barcelona defender Edmilson has also criticised the Swede by warning new PSG arrival Lucas Moura of the player.
“Lucas needs to stay smart around this arrogant superstar,” he said through his Twitter account.

Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
You have a rather large socialist/communist element in France. They talk a lot... but they usually are forced to shut it because we live in a capitalistic global environment. Instead of blaming talented people for making a lot of money, they should maybe criticize an hugely bureaucratic and wasteful government that blows 1000000000000000000000x more money than Ibra makes.
Most smart and educated people in France read this and laugh. It's the people who want handouts to live on that nod their head in approval, not the hard working people.

Ibra suspended for Toulouse cup game. 3 yellows in 10 games or less is an automatic 1-game suspension. Cup and league are not differentiated.
This is why we need Anelka. Gameiro can't be the only CF in these circumstances... and we all know that Ibra has a tendency to get suspended.
He needs to be careful btw. Next time he is due for discipline, it's a 3-5 game ban for Ibra.

David Beckham on Ibra:
Everyone has an ego, but his is of a super type. Before I finish here, I will know the player. I have seen him play at many of the biggest clubs in the world, but I have never known him as a teammate. Now, yes," he said. "I have only been at the club three weeks, but I have never met many players in my career who are as professional as Zlatan.

"Before winning the 2012/13 league title, we were getting ready to play against Lyon," Verratti explains. "Carlo Ancelotti was a bit tense, so Ibra approached him and asked him if he believed in Jesus. Ancelotti said yes, so Ibra told him: 'Good, so you believe in me."
