Re: The Bundesliga Thread
That's the "problem" Bundesliga clubs have with Asian players, Serie A, La Liga and the EPL are just marketed so much more in Asia, and the Buli doesn't seem as "glamorous"
I still can't get that "Chelsea is gonna wiiin, Chelsea is gonna wiiin" "Oh whyyy didn't you wiiin Chelsea" chant from the Malaysian Airlines commercial on Star Sports out of my head. (But I think that has more to do with a girl called Chelsea scoring the most points in a finals match involving my high school - The yearly tournaments would group girls basketball with boys football and vice versa)

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Waldhof Manhheim got promototed to Regionalliga yesterday in front of 18.313 fans.
Mind you that's 5th level. Respect.
Waldhof is the real club of the Neckar region, not stupid Hoffenheim!!

Schurrle is the next big striker. I want him ready for EC 2012. No room for Godolski. Godmez performed well but somehow the team's fluidity decreases when he is on the field.

I think he misses true wingers at national team level like Robben or Ribery, that might be the reason
Podolski, Schürrle or Müller are not true wingers

I heard Mannheim and Ludwigshafen were huge shitholes though, true?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Ludwigshafen truly is one, Mannheim just has the reputation of a huge shithole, because it's a industrial themed working class town, right in the middle of a very wealthy area (southern Hesse and northern Baden), where most cities are posh and fancy like Heidelberg and Karlsruhe, Mannheim is like the only working class city in all of Baden-Württemberg, it's very blue collar.
I actually liked it, the architecture is very pretty in parts, where there's lots of red-brick multi party residential houses etc., the people there are VERY weird though. But in a funny, non-threatening way.
Okay they're a bit threatening. But nice.
That's my old street btw:
Doesn't look so bad, that Mittelstraße in Mannheim now, does it?
And that's Neckarstadt West, the part of town with the worst reputation of all, and it's still nice.
Unless you dislike Yugoslavs, Turks, or hookers. :p

TelDaFax is going under, thus bidding adieu to their spot on the front of our very nice looking home Darth Vader kit, new white away strip, and blue third jersey.
...TelDaFax's loss, Goal Legacy's gain...
I'm starting a campaign to get our logo on the front of this bitch.
Why spam the new Goal.com system when we can spam all of Germany?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Just read that the ministers of the interior of the German states are
thinking about banning alcohol in German stadiums for 2. Bundesliga
matches next season because of all the high-risk games between the
fans of Dresden, Cottbus, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Rostock, Pauli, Frankfurt
and Braunschweig.
I think it's stupid. Most of the fighting and violence will happen outside
the stadiums anyway so why punish all the peaceful fans as well????
