Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
I think Huntelaar is deadly in the box.. you provide him, he scores, no mistakes.. but dont expect him to create and involve well in the attack.. Llorente is less deadly as a poacher and has more of other skills.. and he is exceptional in the air.. we will surely miss a large part of him if we dont play his way, as we are doing with Giroud.. so he is more closer to a Giroud type player.. so i will prefer a more specialist player if we want to sign one among them, that is Huntelaar..
but i would like us to sign a more technical player who can pass and play wide to complement Giroud than buying these players..
100 pw is too high...

Adrian would complement others as opposed to being the focal point of an attack like Llorente or Huntelaar. He's much more versatile and just makes more sense especially if we're losing Theo and Gervais in January.
Plus he's a beast in FIFA

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
I just had to stop and say that you absolutely have to buy Stopilla Sunzu, just for his name. He sounds like the Godzilla of stoppers trained in the Art of War by Sun Tzu. Imagine a Stopzilla-Murdersaurus partnership in central defence, Stoke would quiver in their boots.
Back to reality, even at his age, Huntelaar can still be a fine addition, though the wages he would appear to be demanding would seem excessive. My concern would be that he is not trusted as a first choice striker as when he was at Milan, when Borriello was preferred for his hold-up play, which would be a waste of his goal scoring talent. He would provide a very clinical option from the bench, as even with his limited time at Milan he still had the best goals to minutes ratio in the team that season, however given the wages he demands, he has to come with a significant investment in time. Playing to his strengths also follows from this and this would require a degree of reshuffling were Podolski to remain on the left wing. Personally I feel that other clubs need Huntelaar more and that it is best for both parties if he does not go to Arsenal.
Also I actually do not say this simply because he is my player, however I believe that it would be far too early for El Shaarawy to leave Italy if he were ever to do so. Whilst I am sure that Wenger would be wonderful for his development, he's very young and whilst he is coping very well with the pressure being mounted on his shoulders, stability is important to his development, not the risk of a regression due to lack of playing time. He has a lot to learn and his involvement in the game as of now comes in spurts, though his efficiency is something to marvel at. In any case, he's not leaving

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
Gelsenkirchen. Schalke's Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is to extend his contract, which expires at end of season. Details will be announced in the coming days officially. Even in the event a decision is looming Holtby.
Schalke 04 is in a deep crisis sporty. After Schalke in the Bundesliga from second place to seventh slipped and annual accounts even with 1:2 flew against Mainz 05 in the second round of the DFB Cup, the new coach Jens Keller now try during the winter break, flip the switch again .
In this difficult time Schalke comes good news on cue: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, the top scorer in the Bundesliga last season, has decided to remain with the Royal Blues. The 29-year-old had a renewal of his contract expiring at the end of season is always contingent upon the prospect of being able to play with Schalke title. Obviously, he sees this perspective still, although currently the results could hardly be worse. For the Dutch striker several top clubs were interested from all over Europe.

Huntelaar seems an odd choice stylistically and would not be worth breaking your wage structure for. I'm inclined to say he wouldn't even be better than Giroud...and then in terms of playing with Giroud...that's going to be very very difficult.
Thank you.
It's like people watch these players from YouTube rather than actual games.

Because Ba is PL proven, younger, faster, stronger, can play in other positions and will cost less.

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
On top of that, Huntelaar is a bit of a c*nt who thinks of himself way too high when he's a limited striker who scores simple tap ins.
If we were to sign someone from Schalke I would like us to get someone like Draxler (insane talent who would never leave Schalke at this age anyway) or Jefferson Farfan (hard working winger who could easily replace Walcott, for two or more years)
Pls... let's try to concentrate on players who would actually improve us and move on from players like Reina, Zaha or Huntelaar.

Me too man, I am a big fan of KJH, he hates RIP more than Arsenal fans. There is a reason he was Bundesliga top scorer.
I like Ba but I rather just stick with Giroud and Walcott and plus Mole is saying Ba wants 90k a week.

It will be 40m or something. And the problem is that if we go for him, City/Chelsea/Madrid will all jump in as well offering far more than us in both his price and wages

i think madrid want falcao, same as chelsea and city have to sell first/ dont really need a striker. we can get him if we act quickly as all the other clubs primarily have other targets. if we were to let it drag than obviously we could see other clubs hijacking the deal as you say. but i just feel if we offered 35-40mill plus 100k/w we could get him fast. we have the money, i know we do, plus next season we get a huge financial boost from the epl deal. we should use it to our advantage ffs.

In my opinion we need a speedy yet physical striker. My friend says Ba is fast and physical can anyone confirm this?
Theo will not stay so we should buy at least three players
1.A DM
2. RW

Is Ba cup tied if he joins Arsenal?
We really need a top striker to have chance against Bayern.
