fair enough...don't have a resounding comeback at this moment, other than the fact that our goalkeepers score

Brazil got 5 World Cups
Brazil > Everybody else else
Venezuela 0 - 0 Brazil in the qualifyings for the Word Cup
Therefor Venezuela = Brazil.
That means Venezuela > Everybody else.

Venezuela 0 - 0 Brazil in the qualifyings for the Word Cup

Wait, what? LOL!!!
Let's see, Brazil belongs to South America, South America is a continent in a world with other continents, which means that Brazil belongs to the world, in which we are 5 times world champions

Re: Bolivia > Albania or any other European non-powerhouse!
Bolivia's around Albania level, probably a bit better. I stand by my point in that the average South American side is much better than the average European side, even though Europe has much more "bigger" teams.
Bolivia is probably the worst NT in South America, and Argentina were pretty shit, to be honest.

Sound post. That's the thing, Europe has more countries, therefore more bigger teams. They're also small countries, as compared to the 3 South American giants. If you took Brazil + Argentina and you divided them into countries of the same average size as the European ones, we might have just as many "big" NTs lol.
I've got to be honest though, I've always thought Venezuela were the weakest side in our continent, perhaps because they've never been to a single WC. But I haven't watched them lately. I do know that they held us to a 0-0 not too long ago, and I think it was in Brazil...

Re: Bolivia > Albania or any other European non-powerhouse!
Europe also has a much larger population, almost twice as large. Along with more developed countries.rsinatra wrote:Sushi Master wrote:Bolivia's around Albania level, probably a bit better. Venezuela was the weakest side, but today we have a lot of great youth talent coming through, and potentialy can have a very decent side. On paper we're not too good, but just check out the 2010 WCQ. Bolivia and Peru were clearly inferior.

Re: Bolivia > Albania or any other European non-powerhouse!
I completly disagree this: Bolivia>Albania??? No!
1st: Argentina-Albania was a FRIENDLY.
2nd: Albanian's team was 85% made U-21 players
3rd: we can't get conclusions just because we saw 2 completly different matches and we can't face 2 different teams: Bolivia A (in a official competition) - Albania B (friendly match)
Thanks

Bolivia>>>Brazil,Argentina,Uruguay,Chile,Paraguay
