Re: David Moyes is a Football Genius
It does matter. If they thought that finishing outside of the top 4 could be a possibility then, having signed him to a 6-year-deal, they should have been prepared to stand by him.
Or, just sign him to a shorter deal. It's that simple. Moyes failed hard, so did United.

Re: David Moyes is a Football Genius
There is a new candidate to replace Walter Mazzarri on the Inter bench: ex-Manchester United manager David Moyes.
Mazzarri is in the balance following two consecutive Serie A defeats, falling 4-1 at home to Cagliari and 3-0 against Fiorentina.
It is widely reported that President Erick Thohir could pull the plug if Inter lose to Napoli as well next weekend.
So far there have been few impressive names linked with the job, above all Walter Zenga and Roberto Mancini.
To fuel this rumour, Moyes is thought to have tickets for the Inter-Napoli game at San Siro as a guest of the club along with his brother.
Thohir already hired ex-Manchester United Chief Operating Officer Michael Bolingbroke as his CEO and signed Nemanja Vidic as a free agent.

After Inter links, David Moyes confirms he is “ready” to get back to work and favours a move “abroad” after Manchester United.
Yesterday reports emerged in Italy that Moyes was the number one target for President Erick Thohir should Walter Mazzarri be dismissed.
Mazzarri’s fate will be decided by next weekend’s Serie A match against Napoli at San Siro and Moyes will be in the stands with his brother as a guest of Inter.
“I’m ready to go,” Moyes told Telegraph Sport. “I’ve no time-scale. I’m enjoying the break but I’m a football man and I want to work.
“I feel my best years are ahead of me and I do feel I am still a young manager. I’ve lots to learn and lots I want to put into practice.”
“I think I am better-equipped to take over a job like Manchester United now than even when I did take over because I’ve had a chance to see what happens, what goes on.
“I felt I was ready when I left Everton but obviously when you get in you see things and you realise that experience and knowledge you can only get from being in the job. But unfortunately I only got nine months.”
Coaches have struggled to make an impact at Inter since Jose Mourinho won the Treble in 2010, as Rafa Benitez, Leonardo, Gian Piero Gasperini, Claudio Ranieri and Andrea Stramaccioni have all been and gone.
Mazzarri took over in June 2013, but is already thought to be hanging by a thread after back-to-back Serie A defeats to Cagliari and Fiorentina.
“Picking my next job is vitally important, I’m well aware of that,” continued Moyes. “I’ve an open mind as to what it will be and where it will be - if it’s in the Premier League or in the UK, that’s fine.
“But if it’s abroad then I’m okay with that. I have always been an advocate of players and Coaches going abroad if that’s the right opportunity. It doesn’t happen, not enough anyway.
“You look at how well Terry Venables did in Spain and how well Bobby Robson did - they are up there with the great managers and both had periods working in Europe.
“One of the reasons why I wanted to be part of the League Managers Association was because I felt there were an awful lot of foreign Coaches coming into these shores but we were not exporting enough British talent.
“It’s good that we have good managers like Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger in this country but I think we should be trying to send out some of our managers to other countries to help not just the development of themselves but the leagues over here. It can enhance their careers.
“So I’ve an open mind on where I go next.”

I think he never was such a bad manager and the way people judge him from his ManUtd season. I am sure that people will see it now, even in LoL Liga

Re: David Moyes is a Football Genius
Yea agreed. Said the same to many. He is agood manager. Will do well at Sociedad as they are a club with limited resources, low pressure and a quality youth system.
Will still get sacked probably.

Hope he stays at Everton forever. Good guy Moyes at good club Everton
I mean, I don't want Moyes going to Man City or Man U or something. I like him too much. Stay at Everton.
