Re: Champions League discussion
Lichtsteiner is such a thug. What an utter douche.
Great player, but that stuff makes him Laziale for life in my eyes....so dirty.

Meh.. blocking the goalkeeper has always seemed dirty for me. So Lichtsteiner did well there.

Re: Champions League discussion
am shocked why many people are calling lichtsteiner a thug and what not, but what about what the Celtic player was doing, trying to stand in Buffon's face, is that considered classy in England and EPL?

Shit talk, write them off completely. They have so close to no chance, you might as well round it down to zero.

Dortmund must have the worst GK in the last 16.
What a shitty GK. And he is german. A German GK that it's not WC, incredible.

Playing defensive seems to be the most effective way to play this CL.

Re: Champions League discussion
I personally feel people shouldn't base PSG on tonight, they rely so much on Ibra and without him they look lost offensively.
They would be a completely different proposition when he's back.
Although he is banned for one more game and that would be enough for any one not named Schalke to probably finish them off.

Re: Champions League discussion
Juventus going through shows how poor this CL has been in terms of justice and refereeing. There just is no justice in Celtic being knocked out as the 5-0 agg. is highly unrepresentative of who deserved to go through. Juventus being the typical Italian cheaters with their slow and unethical football now know how to rob teams in European competition after generations of robbing Serie A titles.
Celtic were by far the better team and deserved to go through. Unlike Juve they displayed sheer bravado in their audacious displays fueled by their utter desire to win. It was their fearlessness and dauntless display over the two legs which portrayed their superiority. They worked harder, showed more bravery, were tenacious, and were the testament to how courage, spirit, intrepidity and might is the best formula to go through within this tournament as without heart & mettle laced with fortitude which is pure injustice to Celtic. What irks me even more was Lichtsteiner, Pirlo and Marchisio's thuggery in trying to bring out the criminal out of the Scots. But that doesn't exist as Lennon has brought out only Valor and Gallantry in the squad. Quite a shame in my opinion as Celtic also were physically stronger, and better in the air. That alone is the reason for the injustice. Don't make me even mention the fans.

Re: Champions League discussion
Serie A's point co-efficient so far is higher than the EPL this year.13.083 points to 12.857 points accumulated by EPL.Just thought i'd bring this statistic up
(Ofcourse it could change at the end of the season though with 3 English teams still present in the EL who can possibly go far in the tournament)
