I think it is the toughest tie we could get and that isn't going to change just because you let yourself get battered by Liverpool once, on the contrary.

Nah.

Last 4 seasons + the current season.

10-11,11-12,12-13,13-14,14-15 seasons are going be included in next European season's co-efficient list.

We're going to be among the worst ranked teams at the qualifying stages if we get 4th.

Soz ,my mistake.

Its last 5 seasons actually.

So 09-10,10-11,11-12,12-13,13-14 make up for the co-efficients list for the 14-15 European season.

The club coefficient rankings are determined by the results of clubs in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League over the previous five seasons, as well as by the coefficient of the clubs' association. The club coefficient is the sum of the points earned by the club over the five seasons plus 20% of the club's association coefficient

Regardless Liverpool are most likely to be in Pot 4 if they make CL.

They are in 30th position now.Many clubs above them and a few clubs below them are still in European competition as of now and are likely to participate in CL next season.

I know, we'll probably draw Dortmund or Napoli in qualifiers or Bilbao :facepalm:

Well if 2009-10 counts, then we might possibly be a seeded team in the playoff round and get someone easier and say not Bilbao, Schalke/Dortmund, Napoli.


EDIT. Shit! Nah Surag you were right the first time. The fifth season they count is the subsequent current season.

For this season (2013-14) the last season they used was 2009-10. So I'm guessing they'll be eliminating that from the count for next seasons points.

Right now Liverpool have amassed 58.464 points in 5 seasons including this season.So this will be your total count when you are placed in the draw for next season's(14-15) CL qualifiers.And this includes 09-10 season.

Damn. We had a Europa league semi points from 09-10 if it counted Sad.

However, plenty of big teams are unlikely to make it namely the Milan clubs, Man United, etc.

Man U, Milan, Inter, Lyon, Spurs, CSKA, Rubin, and Valencia don't look in good shape to qualify for next season's CL.

Barring deep runs in EL by Napoli, Gala etc...I think we should be able to make it to 3rd pot provided we get to group stage. Unless there is something I'm missing.
