Not going to call you a liar because I'm sure it was not impossible to find some mug that would buy it for 2K, I just find it highly unlikely, but knowing people that were buying tons of these to flip at Launch I have not heard of one selling for such a price

European PS4's are manufactured in Japan as opposed to the US launch consoles being made in China apparently, so hopefully we don't get any faulty units  from slave labour

Just checked ebay right now and majority of those listings aren't there anymore. There were up to $5k listings even before launch day. I think that's mostly because of the limited consoles to preorders and launch day pick ups. Haven't had the time to post here as often, I would have let you guys know.

Right now you can still resell it for up to $700 online, but the prices are that low now because some consoles had some problems, and then obviously because a lot more people are selling now.

Around me (New York) I've heard talk of there being consoles available on day one. A few days back the rumors were that you had to preorder, however I have a friend who was able to order his Xbox via Amazon the day of. Xbox ones are selling for approximately $550 (including tax) on ebay.

Even higher. Some of those Xbones are on auction. PS4s are unavailable till March 2014, last I heard(I may be wrong or behind on latest news).

"While PlayStation 4 has launched in North America, it won’t be available in Europe until 29th November. A lot of issues, that were reported on PlayStation 4, emerged from hardware manufactured in a particular factory in China. It seems like Europe is getting an entirely different batch of PlayStation 4 that is “Made in Japan”.

These pictures of the European PlayStation 4 boxes and the actual console hardware are now available on twitter and on different sites. It clearly shows “Made in Japan” written on the hardware and the actual box. If that is the case, then we can likely assume that this new hardware will be of superior quality than the one manufactured in “Hangfujin Yantai” factory in China.

dont think amazon ship worldwide, tried to do that in the past with things, but that may have just been big electronics. Also quite often you end up paying tax when they deliver it to your door which makes the savings hardly anything and you have to wait longer.

I'm gonna get PS4 around XMAS rather than Launch, provided I can find it. Decided I mainly play clubs on PS3 and hardly anyone is getting a PS4 yet so I'll have nothing to play lol. Already played Assassins Creed etc on PS3.

I swear I tried to buy an iPod Touch a couple of years back from them and they wouldnt ship worldwide. I think that's just for big electronics, though. I might buy my PS4 from them if not Works out like £260 then, but I think TAX will bring that up.

Not sure. Was going to get it in the next 2 weeks (if I could find one) The only game I'm looking forward to is Infamous, and I still have to play the first two, so I will probably get it about christmas time.

MT you could just go to GAME and try to trade in your copy of FIFA and a tenner for the next gen version, my friend didnt buy his copy of COD Ghosts from there but when he bought his new console he traded it in and said he got it from there but didnt have a receipt and they said OK.

and no, they're selling for over 500 because they're going to be very hard to find in the next few weeks without a pre-order.
