Haters keep hating

There is a man who last season got destroyed by average Serie A wingers and then a year later ended up having the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Samuel Eto'o and Gareth Bale in his backpocket. This man has been the best RB in the Italian Serie A this season, only haters will disagree this fact. These haters will bring up "stats" to show that the best RB in Serie A is actually average. Their opinions are facts because stats are the one and only thing that shows how good a footballer is. By stats it has been proven that Ozil>Zidane, Fabregas>Xavi, Oddo>Maldini etc.

The man I am talking abut is Ignazio Abate. Ignazio Abate and his club AC Milan has had huge success this season and it is because of that success which has been achieved, the haters hate began hating. While Abate has been owning Ronaldo and AC Milan were winning the Scudetto, Juventus were desperately trying to qualify for the Europa League (which they ended up failing to) and Marco Motta was being roasted by every single player he faced against. The failure got into the head of the haters so they tried to find solace by bashing the winner whose name is Abate and his club AC Milan.

So as the new season begins and Abate is polishing his chainsaw, Juventus has bought the WORLD CLASS PLAYER STEPHAN LICHSTEINER WHOSE STATS SHOWS HE IS BETTER THAN ABATE, history will repeat itself and Juventus will once again finish in midtable and AC Milan will win the Scudetto and Abate will destroy everyone he comes up against.

Till then, before then and after then, let the haters keep hating

Lichtsteiner is a hilarious acquirement. 10 million Euros on who? LOL. Rip off. Super business by Lotito... he did something right for once lol.

Abate was one of our best players... stats don't tell the whole story I've said. Maicon had great stats, but he's reckless and leaves too many spaces open. Abate is one of the few fullbacks that has great defensive security. I'm sure other teams in Italy would just love to have him...

Anyways, the haters hate because their team sucks and got in 7th place, and they can only get 27 year olds on huge sums of money, can't get Aguero... etc... jealously mostly.

Milanista99, you are spot on man. This God-like figure doesn't need to be called up to the national team to be the best RB in Italy. He shows his worth in competitions where the likes of Cassani and Lichsteiner don't even play, where Maggio will only get his first appearance next season...

People can bring up misleading and useless stats but in the end you don't rate a defender by how many goals he scores or goals he sets up. Where is the stat for the amount of defensive lunges made to save goals scored? Where are the stats that show the amount of times he dispossed Eto'o in the first and second derbies? Where are the stats that show how many hours this man spent under the tutoring of Mauro Tassoti crafiting him into one of the best RB's Milan has had in modern history.

And he still has the world ahead of him.

Cassani and Lichtsteiner are awful compared to Abate... and mediocre at best... people thrive on certain stats, but don't look at the bigger picture. Abate is a very talented, ever growing right back... who didn't even start as a right back. He's just 24... and look at how far he has come. I can't wait to seem him at 26 or 27.

Devi, you are too defensive of Juve. Their posters are constantly in our section pissing us off with their Abate and Milan hate so this is our reaction to it. Why punish only one side?

Ok, so you are going to ban me for saying Juve are mediocre? It's my opinion, it's what is apparent. They were practically midtable last season, they have a lot of things to work out with management. Roma are on a way better track than them.

No ones saying you guys can't have an opinion on another team. That's not the case here.

We just want respectful debate. All I see is mud-slinging between you guys and the Juventini. It's steadily escalated and the time has come to stamp it out. We will take whatever action is necessary to do that.

For now, this thread stays open, but I want to see civility here. No gloating and no malice.

You can't expect the administrators to go through every argument and mediate every dispute. If you see something which merits a warning or potentially a ban (jurisdiction lies in hands of administrators) then just report it to them.
