It's usually due to an iron deficiency. though it could be caused by genetics like Zidane had, thalassemia it was called.

problem is, anemia could be a precursor to more serious problems like zidane had. though I believe it is usually treated easily with a change of diet, vitamins etc.

just found out (according to marca) he makes 15m a year and is 4th highest paid player in the world


edit: okay apparently they have their numbers wrong as there are other conflicting reports he makes half that

Neymar is just what Barcelona need.

I have watched that exact game so many times over where either Messi pulls us out of the fire or we lose and adding Neymar to the mix is just wonderful.

We get into these ruts sometimes where we need someone other than Messi to think outside the Barcelona way.

Not to mention Neymar isn't a giant or anything but he looks like he's 6'5 compared to the rest of Barcelona's team.

Tbh I feel sorry for Messi

He's quite a decent player in the right system, but there's no substitute for raw talent. And Neymar has it in abundance. Quite obvious that Neymar was always going to outperform and eventually replace Messi for FC Barcelona.

That will solely depend on Messi himself. He's won everything in club and individual level, perhaps saving himself for WC? Who knows, but he still has a lot too offer. Neymar is coming pretty quick needs to work a little on positioning and efficiency will be netting as much as Leo and CR.

Think Messi's very close to being burned out, honestly. He needs a holiday. When was the last time he's had a proper rest?

Can't really remember tbh. He's always doing something even during the breaks its either an international tournament, or its his Messi and friends thing going on.

Actually i think Neymar is second best player in the world. the only player in this generation who can repeat messi's success. Neymar has a big chance but he needs some extraordinary ability to do that

Messi had that extraordinary thing, people always got amazed how the ball sticks to his feet at full speed and direction changes that never seen before. He has something that others dont have. He gets past players with ease no time wasting = more efficency. Its hard to tackle Messi as he touches the ball 3-4 times in a second while running.Players running with Messi or around him but they can not tackle him. Example



Others can not run through defense so easily. This ability was key to Messi's success. And he got probably best finishing instinct ever.
Messi now lost some of his speed and is not hungry as he was 3-4 years ago. If it was another player with 4 ballon dors, 6 la liga, 3 CL he would probably retire and sleep in night clubs instead of playing
