Cronaldo had the same amount of succesful dribbles in La Liga 09-10 than Neymar has now, after that he lost it when he became goal scorer only. Actually if you compare their seasons it's pretty equal

26 goals 7 assists 90 dribbles 29 games

Neymar @23 14-15
22 goals 6 assists 99 dribbles 31 games (2 rounds left)

Hopefully Neymar doesn't turn the same in lure of goal scoring recognition.

I like my team playing meaningful games in April and May.......... and Ronaldo being there to play in those games so we have a chance at winning some trophies.................like last year.

It's not like Ronaldo hasn't been playing at an elite level since 2006/2007 season..........

Tbh CR has become a ridiculous goal scorer. The problem I have is when people try and make him out to be something he is not. Comparing him to Messi would be the equivalent of Gerd Muller to Cruijff.

I agree wit Hames a bit tbh. I don't think I've ever seen a team this geared towards one player to the point that it unbalanced a team. Put Batigol in CRs place with Kroos Isco and Hames behind him feeding him and Benzema drawing the cbs and I'm sure he would get 70 goals a season if he took pens. CR is a great player though.

Also keep in mind I was speaking in relative terms. When I said CR is nothing special, it's relative to Messi that he's nothing special (which is where he's always getting compared to by idiots).

He's obviously a good player compared to other peasants.

And my original point was Neytap easily outdoing CR in his prime which he will do as he's already on his way to become the sort of goal machine CR is on top of having a dimension to his game CR could only dream of.

I remember when harmonica used to say neymar assists stats were inflated in the first half of last season. He claimed that neymar only benefitted off messi's incredible goalscoring ability and unreal positioning. And now his banging in the goals, people are saying he's benefitting from playing along side dem GOATS that's why? scratch

You bring up his NT stats and performances, they say its because they're all friendlies, you bring up the competitive games they say he played scrubs, he does it in south america, they say it isn't Europe, He's doing it in Europe, and they say its cause he's with Suarez and messi, he scores goals they say he's being spoon fed by the GOATS. He assists, they say its easier to play along side unreal goal scorers. Oh, well then..

I'm the biggest Barca fan in this forum, only I go on and on defending Barca against corruption and refereeing. Bankz however isn't a Barca fan, he's a Neymar fan, like Alex is Suarez fan, and Franchise is tikka-takka fan.

lets be real here cr is a beast and as far as i am concern, if cr chose to be more of a team player, the gap between him and messi would be very small imo, he is capable he just chooses not too, dont get it twisted

He's just not capable, there's nothing wrong with that though. Messi is a once in a lifetime player.

Messi is the best passer and dribbler of all-time, Cronaldo is average passer and dribbler. There's noway Cronaldo will be better than average in build up play, nevermind even close of Messi.

He can try as hard as he wants but he'll never have the passing, vision, close control, dribbling and so on.

I don't believe he doesn't try, he just chose to increase the things he's already brilliant at instead of trying to be good at everything.
