This is fairly accurate as far as performances this season are concerned, only problem I have with it is that SES doesn't play as a 9 so he should be be in Draxler's position. No idea who OPTA considers to be the best U21 9 though.

SES did play 9 until Balo joined... was leading Serie A too up to that point.

While he played a few games in a central position, before Balo was signed he played overwhelmingly as LW which is his natural position. Just because he played 5 games as a CF doesn't make him one.

Yeah... he was doing the CR7 thing. But i feel CR7 is a CF posing as a LWer too. You don't score that many goals if you're a winger. It's not possible.

Both of them haven't played much this season.

The team consists of the "best performers" of the season. Most of the players are starters and have played majority of the time in their respective teams

I think its actually very accurate. The only thing i would actually change is Wilshere instead of Obiang, but Wilshere is better as an AM and in thats case Gotze has that locked down. Shaqiri and Wilshere could be put into the first XI though and i wouldnt argue.

24 app by Pogba compared to 20 by wilshere and 21 by thiago (only 12 starts)

Pogba is there because he has 5 goals in the league while wilshere has 0 and thiago has 2. Goals hike the ratings

I like Wilshire as a footballer, but I definitely couldn't make a case of him starting over Pogba, and Obiang has been very impressive playing for a meh sampdoria team so I can't say he doesn't fully deserve his spot either.
