Chamakh "I want to see Arsenal in the CL next season. It was important for us to win and for Arsenal too."

What a guy, thank you Chamakh. Heart

Looking like the scousers are actually going to do it.

Amazing to see a team go from 7th to first in one season. Truly amazing. Gerrard's sudden short temper with journos.  His increased pace and stamina is also amazing. At 33 no less! Even Glenn Johnson is quicker and never stops running. I've not seen 7th to first in one year since Ben Johnson.

Or it could be something innocent like playing fewer games of course, which just makes them 'look' quicker and fitter.

Hmmm

Beat Hull, and we can put quite a bit of pressure on Man City for 3rd spot.

Yea what I was thinking too. It might be a bit too far fetched though but if City drop points to Everton(hopefully a draw) and somewhere else then maybe we can get 3rd?

However our GD is terrible

We should probably forget about third. Given their vastly superior goal difference, City will have to drop at least five points out of a possible 15 and I think that's very unlikely, even if they've stuttered in their last couple of games.

Incidentally, provided Liverpool win against Norwich, we'll be mathematically out of the title race this weekend.

Don Vito and Sunderland take two points off City and 3 off Chelsea, basically handing the title to Liverpool.

I really dont care who wins the league, we had the chance but Wengers January penny pinchin lost us title. Sad
we probably would have won the league if we had no injuries and Wenger had to this squad in the January.

No one was available in the January window, we never had a real chance of winning the league this year because we bought only 1 player in the summer window. Injuries is a bullshit excuse, we've had a horrible injury record for years.

No one was available for the prices we wanted to pay in the January window,

This is a very important factor that I feel most people tend to look over.

Players were available.. We just didn't want to shell out the cash at the time because they would have been more expensive, so we chose to wait for the summer and just see what happens in the league.

Well, exactly what everyone expected happened because we didn't make any injury insurance signings. Even players who weren't ideal or perfect fits, should have been brought in out of desperation, because that is exactly what we were.

And, I feel like people forget that a lot of players were actually bought and sold this January.. And a whole lot of them could have helped. Berbatov could have helped, Salah could have helped.. etc..

I'll be happy if we win the FA Cup, but this league could have been won.. Or at least, the front office could have done more to at least try.. But we opted to wait till next season to make the big push, I suppose.

United won't even be in Europa League. It's not comparable. But nice try. WOB will always cling to ways to bash Wenger regardless of the specifics.
