Yeah they would ideally never be played together.

But Llorente at the end of the day is free, Matri and Quags and hopefully Giovinco will be gone so we need proper quality depth upfront.

Loads of clubs worse off than us have better options than we have now.

If we had Higuain we'd have him and Llorente competing + rotating for the Prima punta spot and Vucinic + ??? competing for the ss spot.

My fear is if we get Higgy that '???' will be somebody like Diamanti. But if we don't get Higgy we'll be able to get a much, much better ss.

Madrid considers Bale a striker. So it's going to be Bale and another CF... most likely Aguero.

That's the thing AA.... shouldn't Juve concentrate on getting a SS or 10 instead of overkilling the 9 spot?

Higuain's probably on a higher level to Llorente. I'm not sure why Juventus signed Llorente when there were better strikers available.

If I was in charge I would focus on an Ibra or a suarez and make do with Llorente + keep one of our current lot.

Because the fact is the quality ss type players out there are more creative and even better goal scorers than the available No. 9 players.

Llorente was free MT. Not often such a good player is available for free. We had him secured a long time ago and he's better than Matri + Quags. Marotta didn't know who would be available in a years time so he upgraded our striking department without spending a pound on transfer fees.

Because Pepe refuses to be a backup and told the club this...

He was free, however I don't think that has to mean they sign him. If there's someone better than they should just pay for him. Llorente and Vucinic are probably on a similar level. Unless of course Vucinic is being sold.

Makes sense I guess but he is 30 not sure what team would try their luck on him. Just like Arbeloa he should be happy with a bench role, because he seemingly has regressed from the player he used to be

Albiol may be slow but he doesnt have brain farts

Albiol's usually a solid defender. I mean our defense looked good when he and Varane played a few months ago for some games.

the only thing Pepe lacks is a brain and technical ability to pass a ball rather than hoof it. He is very athletic. Forgive me for saying this but you don't exactly need a brain as a defender in EPL because the forwards aren't very smart. He is tailor made for the EPL

i actually think Epep will get mugged in EPL, but we will see if he goes there.
