He spoke to me and told me to eat kebabs. Ask Neymar he can confirm.

There are pygmy tribes in some secluded parts of the world who have never seen a toaster before and consider fire "mystical magic" who know who Fergie and United areCotes wrote:Gil wrote:United. Play in the most watched League, biggest club in the World and follow the footsteps of Ronaldo, Beckham, Cantona, Giggs etc
Madrid are a joke and no one wants to play for them. There's a reason Higuain, Benzema, Ronaldo etc are all desperate to leave.
Chelsea is pretty attractive as well. Earn shitloads of money, compete for trophies, London nightlife, fastest growing club in the World etc
how so?
u really should stop watching so much Foxsoccer
That's what you call big

Re: what is the most attractive club to play for atm?
Actually the OP states that under the hypothetical situation the player would be a starter AND get ample playing time.
Considering this my list would be( in general terms, not counting certain individual preferences from the players)...
Bayern Munich
Barcelona
Real Madrid
Manchester United
PSG
Juventus
Dortmund
Manchester City
Chelsea
Milan
Bayern Munich has good wages, good protection, good city, nice league, best team in the world right now, Barcelona has great football, favorites for la liga, and will be in contention, real madrid has the money and glamour while keeping it self realistically competitive atm despite its short comings as an institution, united are probably going to do well in all competitions and its a good club with what id assume to be good wages, PSG practically guarantees Ligue 1 and some good CL action they actually shouldnt be taken lightly at all, u can probably change the ones below the top 4 a lil bit.

Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Real Madrid for the history, although they have been tainted by anti-football.
Bayern are the successors to Dutch organistaion and pressing
Barcelona are the current spirtual successors to the greatest team of all time Ajax of 70s.

I would choose Barca as you would get to play with possibly the greatest player in history . Messi .
Bayern Munich you would be playing for club that would pay you pretty well, are almost guaranteed to win to the league every year allowing you to accumulate a ridiculous trophy count, and are perennial champions league finalists which as you know, is the most important thing these days . In addition they are going to be coached by the pre-eminent coach of the current era Pep Guardiola . Competition for places on the field would be fierce but wouldn't fear that x player is getting played ahead of you because of favouritism in the club and there dont appear to be any cliques . In addition you wont have to deal with excessive or in fact any press or fan intrusion or pressure from the fans as would likely be the case in a country like Italy .
Cons however are that internationally bayern and the bundesliga as whole dont arent watched as much as other big clubs and other leagues so you wouldnt maintain as much of a profile as you would if you happened to be at another big club .
My second choice would ofcourse be Arsenal : You would get paid very well with wages comparable to those at bayern . Would be working with a world renowned coach in Arsene Wenger who has a great record when it comes to improving players and would shield you from any criticism from the press . In addition the you will become an instant cult hero and fans legend if you win a trophy with the club which you arent that far away from doing . And you would be playing with the quickest football player in world football, Theo Walcott . And as would be rich, you would live a ridiculously high standard of life in one of the best cities in the world, London . In addition, as you would be playing in the most watched league in the world you would maintain a very high profile . The press would call you the best player in your position in the world after every good game you play .
Cons - You would have to endure some games with Mike Dean, and 2 games a season against Stoke . The fans can be a little capricious at times . The chances of you winning the champions league are slim . Dont get injured a la Diaby .
Madrid would be very attractive as you would be among a select few players in history to have played for that club, and among the footballing community you would be revered . And if you were among the team that won La Decima you would be treated like God by half of all spanish football supporters and would be an instant club legend in a club thats almost a a global cultural institution . The downside is that you would be hounded by the press after every bad game u play . Though ofcourse you wouldnt have many as you would be a top top player

FC Barcelona - beautiful city, outrageous wages, great team chemistry. A bit one-dimensional and you'll probably end up feeding the midget with assists for most parts of the season, but you got guaranteed La Liga title and a good chance to add the UCL to that. Tito, or Pep, or no Tito and Pep - Barca has a well-established system, and youth players grow up playing that system - you will always have a well-clicking team, even if the success of hte past few years doesn't come back.
Also, the players seem to be treated really well, if they're not foreigners. They get little open criticism from their own management, and if they fit the system, they don't get shipped off after two or three bad performances.
If you don't fit the system, you're out though.
