Navas has been lacking end product and he also should use his speed more to make runs behind defenders, he looks too happy to just be available for a safe pass on the wing.

30 appearances is just a way of inflating numbers to make him sound bad.  4 and 7 in 1800 minutes is a decent return, no matter how you spin it.

He ain't even play against West Ham in the league cup  He doesn't have an assist in the league cup.

It doesn't really matter anyway. Earlier in the season most people appreciated what Negredo does, whether or not the stats translated from competition to competition.

Same with Navas, he does a balanced job and is important for the structure of the attack. Is Milner better? Perhaps. But then Milner is better than Willian and Valencia too.

I actually like Milner, so it's not a thing for me. The Arsenal fan hating on him is delusional, he would kill to have Milner in his team.

no he isnt, what a stupid comment. milner has 10 goals in 102 appearances for man city. but no....he is better than willian, arsenal will kill to have him Laughing

you clearly dont watch milner beyond the odd big game. Laughing

the only one who has been good is Silva and thats in patches more than anything. Before the break or Carling cup victory to be precise Navas and co were excellent with not many teams being able to stop them.

I put that down to Pellegrini and his stubbornness to play the failed 4-4-2 formation with Kun and Jovetic injured.

Aguerodependencia. It's normal that this happens after the most effective player in the league gets injured.

+1 on everything you said, except Milner being better than Willian.
And on Milner, he has always been a very underrated player imo. Always liked him. Brings good qualities to the team. A good goal return has never been his game.

True enough.

I rarely watch Arsenal outside those either, and from what I've seen, you would, or at least should, kill to have James Milner on your team  Laughing

Oh 6 assists in the FA cup

Not impressed one bit considering the FA cup is where the giants of world football Wigan, Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City roam the lands as the dominant force.

Watched City quite often, and he's really not impressed me

Too many times Milner have shown to be more effective. I dont think Navas is doing all that bad, he was very good for a while. But probably Man C's game isnt the best for him? His speed means probably not suited to MAn C who mostly have the ball and attack trying to break down defense, just not suitable for Navas' game?

Bump.

Is Navas good enough for Man City?

All he does is run up and down the flank and put in crosses. That's literally all he has to his game. No cutting inside and shooting, not much dribbling, not much key passes. Just staying out wide and crossing it.

I'm looking at his game and thinking "City would have been better off keeping Adam Johnson".

And I still maintain that. He came to City as a player who was past his best despite his age. He is a good player who can provide some great moments but he is nothing more than that. City fans don't like him(twitter, bluemoon etc) and constantly ask for an upgrade. He isn't even a starter with Nasri and Silva both better on the wings than him.

Won't be surprised if he is moved on this summer or next.

one dimensional winger... all he can do is cross. Never understood the purchase. Same with Negredo. In fact, i don't understand almost all of City's transfers Laughing

Antonio Valencia minus defensive attributes = Jesus Navas

Thought valencia was the crappiest winger playing for a big team was. This guy is way worse. Proud
