Which premier league club has the strongest midfield in upcoming season ?

Midfield is the heartbeat of every team, and determines the direction of the game.

I think these two teams are strongest in that dept--

Man United - traditionally strong in midfield, this time round no key midfielder left, so strength remains intact
Newcastle - with its wealth of midfielders n playmakers such as Check Tiote, Yohan, and Hatem Ben Arfa, they are very formidable in midfield

For those who prefer to analyse after they start playing a few games, u are welcome to do so a few months later. This topic is to PREDICT their core strengths before the season starts.

Our midfield is crap by default because Pardew doesn't have a clue how to use it.

Anyway Arsenal for me that is the one that controls matches the best and functions the best IMO

Yeh has to be Man City currently. However Man Utd/Arsenal should get close if they make a few transfers.

Man Utd need a CM, Arsenal need a DM and an AM if Cazorla plays on the left.

Arsenals Ramsey-arteta pivot offers nothing going forward, and arteta-wilshire pivot offers no defence. Arsenal need a defensive midfielder

Tottenham.
If Chelsea get DDR, they'll be there too.


Man United's is solid, but far from the best.

Defensively, Tottenham has by far the best.If players like Dembele and Paulinho prove they can add a lot offensively then i would rate them the best overall.City has a fantastic midfield but their defensive side is a incognito considering Pelle probably plans on playing Fernadninho-Yaya in the pivot

Arsenal's after we sign Cesc

Not to mention Rooney is a hard worker, he'll drop deep and link up with Cesc whilst Luiz Gustavo is a very good young CDM.

I'd still say Yaya-Fernandinho-Silva is better than Wilshere-Arteta-Fabregas(potentially).

Southampton is another. I'm sure if they can keep their team for a year or two they'll emerge as arguably the best.
