The order of strikers goes as follows (space between names shows distance in quality):

1.Messi

2.Banega (because it's not his position otherwise would be better than Messi)
3.Ronaldo

4.Ibra

5.higuain (Came from River Plate, no wonder he is so good)
6. RVP

So, there you go. After proper scientific analysis, he is been proven to be the sixth best in the world.

first, Lol about the messi-ronaldo tier.. There's Messi, the best player in history, and there's Ronaldo one of the best players in the world ...

I rate RVP 3rd behind Messi and Ibra at the moment , better than Ronaldo.. I prefer RVP to have 3 opportunities and score 2 goals than having Ronaldo to waste half of his team actions to feed his need of attention... also let's see how Mandzukic does this season, the guy is very underrated here...

RVP is no where near Ibra.

Ibra's ability to control the game yet score goals and assist others is unparalleled. What has RVP done to compare to an eternal champion like Ibra? who has won every league title bar one in his playing career..RVP's effect to the game is no where near what Ibra offers..

Messi plays in the middle, so he should be counted. Ronaldo plays on the wing, so shouldn't.

But he is closer to 3rd (Falcao for me) than he is to Ibra.

No, Ronaldo is one of the best players of all time. Be a pedant if you like but there's still a clear gap between those two and the rest.

Have to agree with Gil tbh, easily the best behind Ibra and the only reason Ibra is definitely above him is his all round play.

Best 9 in the world easily, i used to prefer Cavani but RVP is just ridiculous now.

Similar players in all honesty. Only major difference between the two is Ibras strength, height and aerial ability.

Ibra's probably more of a playmaker too although RVP is no slouch on that end either.

I do think Van Persie has better movement though.

RVP has miles better movement and finishing.

But Ibra has better link up, vision, range of passing.

RVP used to have all that in abundance but i get the feeling over last few years he has sacrificed that to become a better striker.

There is no better at finding a half a yard and shooting into the top corner Messi aside.

Yet, I saw RvP at Man United coming from the midfield with the ball, something what Rooney started to do a few years ago. He put some nice through passes and even some assists (I remember now his assist for Kagawa v Tottenham last season at Old Trafford).

So, it still happens often to see RvP's great passing vision and link-up in the midfield, when Rooney isn't on the pitch.

ive seen that truth , because of his height and physical attributes he is the best man as a center forward and focal point to the attacking department , rather top point of a Christmas tree in Anchelotti style or the arrow of attack , that however is an issue for a team that wants to play possession football and keep the ball on the ground

Really never bought into the RVP hype. Hes a great player I know, but people are also forgetting that all these years hes had very good Arsenal teams and now a very good United team behind him, whereas Ibra carries every teams attack hes ever been in bar Juve and Barca. Suarez also has been carrying Liverpool. I also believe Tevez, Rooney, and Aguero are better than him when on form, though that's usually not as consistent as RVP being on form so ill admit he has a slight edge overall. Don't see how anything I said here is at all far-fetched so don't know why I'm being told to shut up.

Also, people give RVPs versatility way too much credit. We've all seen that when hes played on the wing for the Netherlands hes practically useless.

As for cleanest shot, still say Podolski has the cleanest shot with serious power. Hulk and Ronaldo also probably have better better shots than RVP. Id say RVP is top 5 though.

He wasnt for Inter, wasnt for Juve, wasnt for Milan, isnt for Sweeden and isnt for PSG.

Only place he was, Barca, he didnt do well because surprise surprise..its not his position.

Stop playing FIFA and watch the games, didnt play CF. He very often dropped deep away from the defence where Lavezzi could use that space to make runs.
