We say it every year, but let's hope this thread is used less next season.

Aaron Ramsey supposedly set to undergo thigh operation according to Metro. Daily Mail reported the story first then deleted it.

*MASSIVE SIGH*
Ramsey confirms these stories are bull on Twitter.
@aaronramsey 1m
Please ignore any stories about me needing surgery. They are completely false. I'm enjoying my summer and already can't wait for pre-season.

Jeremy Wilson
On injuries, Diaby fit and hoping for full pre-season. Walcott to continue special programme. Realistic 1st team return aim always been Sept

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
on Theo Walcott…
He's progressing very well. He's worked very hard during the summer and we expect him to be back in full training at the end of August.
on how long it will take for Walcott to get back in the team…
That's difficult to predict. Once he's back in full training it can be very quick. He has a good basis, which is what he's working on now.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
That's great news, at that rate he wouldn't miss more than a portion of the beginning of the season, having Alexis will hopefully mean we won't miss Theo's pace on the right.
I wonder what role Diaby will play if he can stay fit for a few months. We all know what he's capable of, would love to see him get a few games under his belt and show that early season form he was in two years ago.
But with this being his contract year, he'll most likely move on afterwards.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Apparently the German trio will miss the start of the PL as well with fitness issues. They return on Monday and would need 3 weeks of proper training etc. Might see them in September properly. Although Mertesacker might play earlier.

@julian_bennetts: Koscielny substituted due to Achilles' tendon problem. Wenger 'hopes it's not too bad' but could be a doubt for opening day. #AFC

Surprised Szczesny hasn't been declared injured, thought for sure he'd at least have a dislocated shoulder or mild concussion after today
