Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
It's sad but if diaby really suffers another set back he has to retire. I feel like he will be risking his ability to live a normal, comfortable life later on if these injuries keep happening

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
It is frustrating for us fans to see him get injured all the time but imagine how hard it must be for him. I really hope he can recover from injuries because he deserves to play.

Wenger.
"Maybe we overplayed him a little bit," said Wenger.
"We should have rested him before he was injured."

We can blame Wenger, but some players(Jack and Ramsey) have to realize that if they are hurt or burned out they should sit out and let the Wenger know. I know they are young and think they are untouchable and want to help but the best thing to do for the team is to rest.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
According to Roy Hodgson, Wilshere has been training for a while but Arsene is being cautious about his come back for once:
"Jack Wilshere has been training for the Arsenal team for a while," Hodgson said.
"I spoke to Arsene, who said he was holding him back

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
You know, it is a little strange ... players who leave Arsenal tend to have a lot of fondness for the club and respect for Wenger. But I have hazy recollections that the training regimen is the one thing that sometimes comes in for criticism more frequently than anything else ...
Like Bendtner, for instance, when he was at Juventus, said something about how the training there was on a different (and superior) level. Things like that.
I can't think of other examles off the top of my head. Maybe RvP at United? Am I misremembering, or exaggerating this? I'm not saying Robson knows what he's talking about, but maybe there's some semblance of truth in that vague, general direction.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Funny how Robson knows about Wenger's training regime just after that other dutch guy slated Wenger for the same thing. He's full of shit imo. Bendtner said with Juventus there was a lot MORE work in training compared to Arsenal. If anything, in training pics it always looks like they are not working that much at all, all smiles and work with the ball.

“Ramsey is available again, Wilshere could be in the squad again. Gibbs will be back, Chamberlain will still be out,” the boss told press this morning.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
RAMSEY, GIBBS, JACK. GTF IN.
Rest them for the final methinks. Put Gibbos in for 20 minutes vs Norwich and Jack too.
-----------Szczesny
Jenkinson - Per - Vermaelen - Monreal
--------Diaby------Flamini
-------------Rosicky
Cazorla-------Giroud-------Podolski
Kallstrom would probably start over Diaby anyway.

i'd put Sanogoal over Giroud and Gnabry over Poldi, don't want't to take risk ahead of the final

Would be unlike Arsene to play a B team. He will rest here n there but there won't be massive changes
