Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Some good news
Speeaking ahead of the Liverpool game on November 2, Arsene Wenger said: "At the earliest, Theo will be back for Man United but I think he will be a bit short for that game."
Speaking ahead of the Liverpool game on November 2, Arsene Wenger said: "He is a short-term injury, he could be available for Manchester United. He is out for Liverpool and Dortmund."

An injury a game is keeping us top of the table.
In all likelihood, a half fit Walcott will make the bench for Man Utd. Hopefully Flamini will be back, too.

I think this season has been one of the worst injuries seasons. We have lost these players too early and for too long. How scary are we with all of the healthy?

One of the worst?
Don't you remember the season when we lost all our centre backs at the same time, then the next season, we lost all our fullbacks at the same time . Or maybe that was the other way around..

I won't get so happy soon...
What's this I'm reading on twitter... Jack's apparently out for up to 6 weeks.

- Walcott could be on the bench against Man Utd.
- Podolski has resumed light training and Arsenal hope to have him back by the end of the month.
- Oxlade-Chamberlain on the other hand is expected a Christmas return.
- Wilshere and Gibbs might be available for the United game.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Gibbs and Gnabry have travelled and are available. Wilshere hasn't travelled and will have a test on Thursday - if he fails he won't play against United or for England. Walcott won't be back until after the international break.

Walcott has apparently returned to training now, so he'll definitely be back for the Southampton game.

That's great. We're going to need him. Southampton will be very difficult. I'm surprised at how little they have been talked about on here.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Just listened the German NT press conference with GK coach Andreas Köpke, he said Per Mertesacker and Mesut Özil are still in London doing blood tests and that it's still unknown whether they'll be read for the Italy clash. Most likely no, which is good news for us.
We'll hear more about this tomorrow when NT coach Löw will hold another press conference.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
These injuries and illnesses work perfectly during the international break. Can't help thinking Walcott could have been ready (just barely) before the break but Wenger didn't want to risk him being selected.
