Yep fully agreed. But not every one share that opinion though. Not that it matters since it's subjective.

But yea, it's easily my top 3 favourite of all time. No other show gives me the same feeling apart from Game Of Thrones and Arrow.

The suspense makes it a good show imo.

Not only the suspense... it is just set up perfectly.
Even there is no "big named actors" the cast is just spot on! They did a great job picking the right actors for the characters since they are all brilliant - even if they die within one season
If you do not have top actors you can only archieve this if your casting is 100% the perfect person for the character and they nailed that!

Editing is outstanding as is the work of the director(s) (I include second unit here with all the walker shots)

The way they tell the story changing from action packed episodes to almost epic story telling is just brilliant!

jaw dropping well done... I draw my hat and I rarely do that (I usually find something that is not perfect)

yet Vikings beats Walking dead by a very slight margin... very slight

Vikings is by far the most astonishing TV Series (ever?)

If you want astonishing. You'd ought to check out the HBO classics, like The Wire, The Sopranos, and Oz.
TWD is a good show to waste some time, a show with so much wasted potential, could have been so much more.

What other shows have you watched Zizou? If you have not, you should check out Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad, True Detective, Fargo. I think you will like them a lot.

Game of Thrones is on my list for DVD Marathon at christmas or some sort of Holiday like that.
I missed the beginning and never had the time to catch up and I do not want to start watching in the middle...
I know that I will love Game of Thrones...

Breaking bad was very good and especially I thought that the actors where amazing - yet it never captured my attention to the point that I did not want to miss an episode...

True detecive and Fargo I do not know..

I do not watch a lot of TV - in fact I did not even have a TV for quite a while - thought it was a waste of time ... my day would need 36 hours anyway so TV is one of the things that ends up quite far back on the list of things to spend time with.

That's the first. Most people say the other way round lol.

Season 3 was a bit poor at parts imo, but last season was very good. Season 2 is underrated for me. The whole Shane-Rick saga was fantastic but people found it boring.

Season 4 they ruined the 2nd half. Was a bit meh. Season 4 had very high ups with the first half and few episodes in the 2nd half like those two sisters episode or the final episode.

Think season 5 will be great. But they should limit the episodes instead of fillers.

Won't be able to watch it for a while sadly. Will come in a week or so.

There was one episode in season 2 which is still my favourite, where they open the shack and go crazy on the walkers.

I am on the same page with you there and I thought the first episode was great.
Looks like it is going to be a very good season.
