WOOOOOAHHHHH!!!
Episode 1 was insane. This season is going to be amazing you just know it.
I could take out so many badass quotes from that episode.
The scene with Tyrese and that other guy in shack  You could feel the tension in there. The guy teased and pushed Tyrese until Tyrese just went crazy on him.

Carol  I agree her character development has been terrific.

And of course Rick Proud
The way he killed all dem people and walkers that he killed in that episode, whether it be gun or wooden stick Proud

The after credit scene got me buzzed even more for the rest of the season. And yes, Maravilla, we will be seeing Beth this season.

TV's highest-rated series is still cheating gravity. After four seasons of setting new ratings records every few episodes, The Walking Dead rose yet again on Sunday night — fetching an average 17.3 million viewers and 11 million adults 18-49.

I just love the subtle line that illustrate the character development over the time that you are probably only able to pick up when you have watched all Episodes...

When Carol says to Mary before letting the walkers feed on her: "you are not here, neither am I"...

wooooah! epic line!

or when Rick tells the others to let the "butchers" turn instead of killing them properly...

7 month of waiting highly rewarded.

cant wait for the next episode!

What an episode. Couldn't wait to watch it after the hype on twitter and I am watched it at this time eventhough I have to be up at 6 ffs. So glad i did though

What an episode man. Great premier. It was perfect in every way. Easily one of the best opener you can get.

Carol
Bad ass Rick
That spear by Tyreese Laughing
That reunion

Morgan is back

Loved the directing and story telling though. The dialogues were amazing. Specially the one liners. That whole cattle or the butcher analogy

Ffs this GOAT show Proud

It was a great episode. Not much to add to what has already been said here except that I'm so glad the group didn't stay prisoners at Terminus for long.

Yea that's what the general consesus is as well. Bit surprised they didn't drag the season in there tbh. Wonder what they are planning.

Oh and this if you couldn't figure out(I couldn't)

I am on the same page with you there and I thought the first episode was great.
Looks like it is going to be a very good season.

I disagree, I think it was getting worse and worse. The first the 6 episode were the best and I dont think any season would match that.

The new episode was good, might be a good season since we wont spend half of season for them trying to escape.

Although I don't think it's gotten that much worse than season 1, but totally season 1 was amazing.

There's something to be said for the show only getting worse since the pilot. It was an amazing pilot though.

Great episode

But after slowly building Terminus up for god knows how long I expected them to be in it for at least a few hours worth of TV

Not upset though, cba watching them all talking in a container in between rounds of terminus torture banter.

Yeh, was expecting the Terminus thing to drag on for at least a few episodes. Good thing they ended it quickly.

Was a good episode, but they need to advance the main story this season. No more filler. There's only so much you can watch of them battling in a different place each season before it gets stale.

Think they ended terminus quickly because they realised all the arcs they did themselves rather than adapt from the comics were shit. Probably a good decision.

No idea what's next. They will most likely travel a lot now which is good for suspense and thriller.

Also Eugene telling everyone more about the zombie virus went under the radar. That's going to push it towards the main story. No idea once again where though.

Agree too. Nice to see they disposed of those guys quickly. Though the young main guy might return I guess. Also funny because that way episode one felt more like the belated season finale for last season.

was the terminus story not in the comics?

Next, I guess they're going to Washington, whatever that means.

And I agree, that's gotta be tainted meat lol.

And I knew Tyrese lied about killing that Justin Verlander look-a-like. SMH, and you knew Gareth was coming back as well. Rick had the right idea to finish them off up until he found Judith.

Do we know for sure what Gabriel did? I guess the obvious thought is after the canned food drive and the sh1t hit the fan, he locked everyone out and left them to die.

First 2 eps have been great so far, especially the premier.

Holy shit. What an episode.

I can't trust anyone new in the show. Father Gabriel looks so shady lol. I think he sexually abused that girl in the picture who was also the walker. Along with what Dmize said. Don't trust him at all. Thought he poisoned the wine in the end but he was drinking himself lol.

The cannibals  Why can't they all listen to Rick for once. I am 100% sure going to Alexandria is a bad idea. There is no sanctuary lol. "Safe place, food, shit" Lol how many times are they going to be deceived  Rick was going to say no before all the happy mood at the church changed his mind.

If Bob was infected(I hope he was now), then surely all of them who ate him must get the infection as well? That would be poetic justice lol. But I don't understand once thing, he kissed Sasha like 20 times. Wouldn't she get infected as well if he was bitten?

Thought the drama and acting were both brilliant by everyone. Even the jobber canabal at the end looked threatening despite being 5'3, 70lb cause of his dialogues.

Can't wait for the next episode ffs. Great start.

Oh and I laughed for like  5 minutes for this

Father Gabriel: "That's a beautiful Child"
Rick:

Your last paragraph is why I'm hesitant about that theory. Because plenty them of had have infected blood on their faces, eyes, etc. And of course the fact that they are all infected already.

So I'm not sure, but I hope Bob's Burgers kills them somehow.

Pretty sure until you are physically zombified, your 'infection' is just like everybody elses so he's not passing anything on atm that everybody hasn't already got

Can't see terminus guys eating somebody only to turn tbh would be very anti climatic.
