Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Probably because Lin and Harden are the worst defensive backcourt in the playoffs when they get there, Beverly improves them a ton on that end but leaves them without a secondary creator.
Howard is going to crumble under the pressure, brick FT's and robotic move his way to 4+ turnovers.
Jones, Garcia, Casppi are bench role players, not much to complain about. Shame one of them will be starting.
Parsons is a really good player, but not real good defensively and im not sure as your 3rd scorer you can really count on him vs the elites.

Gil wrote:Not sure why people are writing off the Rockets chances. They have a well balanced lineup and one of the deepest benches in the League.
They will go as far as Harden takes them as Charles Barkley would say. If he buys into defense like he's done these past few games not many teams can stop them.
They've blown out the Blazers, Warriors and the Spurs at home this season.
The only team I see them having trouble with is the Thunder. They have no one who can slow down Durant.
I thought beating playoff contenders in the regular season didn't matter?
Nah its alright i got it, only matters when it suits your fanboyism of Lebron and Howard
Gotcha.

You shouldn't be listening to Gil, you know better.
Kawhi has been really mediocre. Was expecting a step up after his finals performance.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
blatant ass foul. And dude was doing that ALL of ECF too.
What part of the "verticality rule" is that?
edit: here's a non foul from last ECF:

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Thats not the clearest gif IMO dmize, everything is too small to see details.
Lebron is certaintly the one making the forward motion there and initiating the contact. Doesnt mean it isnt a foul, but as I said, its too small for me to really see Hibbert's actions.
His arms were not vertical, that much I can clearly see, but the contact is body, not arms. Is his body vertical? Hard to see but one thing I think is clear is he plants both his feet in position before a millisecond before Lebron takes off, I think thats an important factor. After that point, the question is Hibbert jumping up or forward, which I cant tell.

well I blew it up in my browser a little and..
1. Hibbert wasn't in position before Bron left his feet
2. They both meet similarly in the air, however Hibbert extends his arms way more forward than necessary.
now what you can't tell is if Bron is extending the elbow which he does pretty cleverly. But to me it didn't look as extended as he sometimes does.
edit: the 2nd pic Hibbert has his arms in an X directly in contact with LeBrons face
now it's not like LeBron needs any more of an advantage but if you're gonna call that, call it for everyone
Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Brad Stevens will be a top 3 coach before long.
crown this man
Came within a Hayward buzzer beater of taking a midmajor and knocking off a heavily favored Duke team. Then he got them back to the title game the very next year(despite losing Gordon Hayward).

The Memphis Grizzlies Oh, how they've fallen.
Hire stat geeks like Hollinger to run your team, brehs
Jeremy Lamb ballin on them. 16 points in just 20min on 6/7, 3/4 from 3. Broke NBA record for most consecutive FT's to start a career(27/27)
edit: the way the Thunder are playing tonight, not many teams are going to beat them
WB: 27, 9, 6, 2 steals
Durant: 18, 6 and 3 on efficient shooting
Ibaka: 12 and 7
Lamb: 18 pts
Reggie: 17 pts
edit2: Jeremy Lamb > Ya favorite young SG not named Beal
and idgaf about the averages, but OKC has the best bench in the league, not debatable.

They got to the WCF semi's last year and they're missing their best player this season. They had a winning record before Gasol went down.

Ahh Gil, did Rudy fk your mom or something? Maybe your sister?
Why else would you be so obsessed with a dude I never even mentioned in the post above?
Oh I know... you're still so incredibly hurt I dropped knowledge on Jeremy Lin. Sorry I spoke the truth on how garbage he is and hurt your ultra sensitive bytchmade feelings.
Jeremy Lin is trash, just like your basketball knowledge...
If there was a WOAT poster of GL award you would win in a landslide you realize that right?
Oh and since you've been duckin the NFL thread... Tell me again how RG3 is better than Andrew Luck oh wait.. he got benched for the rest of the season. Now you're retarded in three sports. Take up hockey and go for the 4 peat.
Clearly I did hurt your feelings, cause no one other than a female would act like you have other wise
I'll give you credit, Gilbert Grape... no one else besides an incredibly emotional Jeremy Lin stan would act as hurt as you do. You've taken stanning to a new(possibly homosexual) level, Stan himself would be proud. Go bump that track, aka your Jeremy Lin theme song.
Now take your L and hop off my d1ck, you lame.

I had a look on a video rather than a gif, im still not sure. I almost seems like Hibbert is jumping backwards..rather than Lebron's momentum taking him backwards.
Either way, I see why it wasnt called but I also would of understood if it was called.
Hibbert is going to keep getting away with this, I have read that he or the Pacers consult was former refs about different foul situations.
