On another note though,we seem to be actively negotiating for some decent players.Unfortunately we always remember to do that 2 days before the deadline.

Even though I rate Mazzarri,I think Thohir's idea of someone like De Boer is spot on.We need a coach who is not afraid to slot in youngsters.Mazzari is pretty much the same as our other coaches,only much better tactically.

A mediocre senior player will always get the nod ahead of a talented young one because we are always after a better result for one game rather than long term results.It's been a repeating occurrence for years.The end result - youth benched,talent fading away,used as bargaining chip while the senior players in first team just get older and decline.

Inter management definitely deserves to be the subject of such sarcasm, but in this case, I doubt there'll be a significant fall off with age. Considering his position, you should, barring injury etc, get a good four or five years of pretty good play out of him.

I don't understand either these problems about age. He is old almost as Osvaldo (Osvaldo born on January 86, Hernanes 1985) but all wanted Osvaldo.
