Is salvage only on weekends?

Noticed it was gone today with the bounties there. Also got a message that the servers would go down just as I was about to log out.

Anyway reset tomorrow which means time to grind for that second legendary gear

Found my first piece of Legendary gear



It's a nice looking gauntlet, but I won't upgrade it since it since it doesn't have the stats I want, but it gives a massive boost to your light level either way. Once I get my New Monarchy faction rank to level 2 sometime tomorrow, I'll buy the faction boots and armour, and hopefully that will push me over to light level 26. I just might be able to take part in the Raid tomorrow.

Really? I'd figured you were miles ahead of me in progression and I've got 2 pieces of of one of the Legendary Vanguard sets (one found, one bought) plus two good Rare pieces, and all Rare weapons. Also now have THREE rare ships... neither of the more recent ones are as cool as the first I found though.

Still no luck with the Legendary armour/weapons. I don't like crucible and apparently that's a good way to get it.

I am happy with my rare gear though.

Unlike Story missions and Strikes, Raids do not give players objectives or waypoints and instead force Guardians to figure everything out themselves. Because of the necessity of communication and coordination, Raids do not support matchmaking.

The 100 mark's a week limit is outrageously low, it only reset earlier today and I've already gotten over 50 marks from the Crucible.

Bungie pls, I would be fully decked in fully legendary armour and weapons if you weren't so stingy. Ah well, I'll be decked in full legendary gear and will have a lot of exotics from the bounties and Resident Evil 4 vendor by the time the Iron Banner comes around anyway.

I cannot wait for the Iron Banner, I tired of being nerfed in PvP.

Dustwalker is one of the two legendary Vanguard armor sets so if you want the full set you can purchase it from Cayde-6 once you reach Vanguard rank 2. I've got the leg (found) and arm (purchased) pieces for the Ghost Angel set myself. Unfortunately the leg piece I found provides more ammo for Auto Rifle or something rather than Scout Rifle so I may replace them in time. I really want the Knucklehead Radar helmet though... trying to collect enough Strange Coins to be able to purchase it if Xur has it in stock this weekend.

Yea, the low weekly cap is quite frustrating at times, I think I ended up trading it 4 or 5 sets of materials for more marks before I realized I'd hit the weekly cap, meaning I gave up all those materials for basically no reason. I think it's set low on purpose though so that people cannot buy all of the legendary gear right away and have to pace themselves in building their character up.

Does the weekly limit do a hard reset on Tuesday or is it on a rolling limit?

Or work to level up your grimoire score and perhaps increase your chances of receiving rewards at the end of matches.

Does grimore has an effect on your rewards then?
Should probably improve it then. Need the gear badly.

Man, I thought I got lucky and found something unique Mine's got Light+22, though. Is that because I've upgraded it's defense, or is the light stat on equipment static? I see the Dustwalker boots that you can buy from the Vanguard vendor only has Light+18.

I'm not certain regarding the light stat but I think it's a relatively random assignment (within a certain range) like Discipline, Intellect, and Strength. So you just have to get lucky to find pieces with higher Light ratings.

You did find something unique, the Dustwalker gear is only available to Hunters

When you upgrade your defence stat, you also upgrade your light stat, they go hand in hand with each other, so yeah, when you upgraded your boots defence the light stat went up as well. Besides, it would make no sense to have Legendary gear starting at Light+22, because Exotic gear starts at Light+21 .

I went to a place in Venus and spent 30 mins destroying every goblin, hobogoblin and other Vexs. Grimoire score went up a lot but got absolutely nothing from the drops lol

10 Crucible matches, not a single reward. The bottom two seem to get the legendary rewards, the majority of the time..
