Bastion and First Light are the worst PvP maps I have ever played on, they are far too big for 6v6. I just head straight for orbit whenever they comes up on map rotation.

Motes of Light can be used to purchase exotic engrams from Xur or Legendary class items and emblems from the Speaker.

Holy shit, that Nightfall Strike is a doozy. Me and a couple of other level 27's managed to finish it on our first attempt, but it took us ages because we had to be slow and methodical due to the insane damage enemies were doing.

The final boss was actually the easiest part, the extra damage bonus for arc damage allowed us to take him down quicker.

Stock up on those ammo synthesis packs, you ain't going to get very far in Nightfall strikes and Raid without them.
