We have to score now, going overtime will be tough.

Re: Arsenal U23s & U18s Thread
We've been roasted by Adama Traore. Really defended poorly against him.

Re: Arsenal U23s & U18s Thread
Full time. 4-2 Barcelona.
A lot of harsh lessons to be learned. There were some bad mistakes at the back that were punished, and the team did a poor job defending against Traore and Kaptoum, who was ultimately the difference maker. If I'm being ultra-critical, they should have scored when they were on top in the first half.
Still, fantastic first half performance, pressing high up and causing Barcelona problems, and great spirit in the second half to dig in and equalise. 4-2 is harsh in the end.
I thought Toral and Olsson were excellent, the former with his passing and the latter with his defensive work. Gnabry is clearly too good for that level, and Akpom continues to impress. Disappointed by Zelalem, though.

Re: Arsenal U23s & U18s Thread
Raptor, I was going to say that
Disappointing to go out of the competition like this but still good game from the boys in attack (and Bellerin in defence), we have some exciting players in Gnabry, Akpom, Bellerin from this team. Zelalem and Olsson very poor defensively, need to improve that part of the game.
Also credit to Barcelona who were very good, especially Traore ripped our LB, Pleguezuelo and Olsson a new one.

Very good technically but I think his lack of athleticism is whats holding him back from the first team at the moment.

Daniel Crowley finally returned from injury today leading the u18s to a 5-0 win and apparently playing very well.

Re: Arsenal U23s & U18s Thread
It was meant to be a full season, but he was recalled since he wasn't getting any playing time under the new Watford manager. He's actually in the squad for the Swansea game tomorrow.

Nice. Thanks
Strongly believe he will follow the steps of Cole and Gibbs and aim for the first team after a short loan spell.
