Arsenal twitter: Goal for @Arsenal Under-21s! Crowley sends a powerful free-kick into the top corner from 25 yards (43) 2-0
Another goal for Crowley, sounds like a special one. Seen him play this season and I can understand why he hasn't got his chance in the first team yet like zelalem, Maitland niles, ect, he is very talented but physically weak and where he plays in the final third you have to handle defenders.

Dennis Wise's son Henry has signed a one-year deal to play for Arsenal.
Henry Wise, aged 15, will train at Arsenal’s Hale End academy after leaving Queens Park Rangers to play for the north London club.
The midfielder joins all three Beckham sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, plus Frank Lampard’s nephew at the Arsenal training centre.

Arteta - Crowley can be a big player
Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has paid tribute to Daniel Crowley, saying he has all the attributes to become "a very important player".
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder scored a trademark free-kick as the under-18s started their FA Youth Cup campaign with a 2-0 win over Reading last month, and Arteta has been pleased with what he has seen from the former Aston Villa man.
"He has impressed me for two reasons," Arteta says in his captain's notes for the Stoke City match.
"The first is of course his talent, but also he is gaining maturity too, and if he keeps doing that then he can be a very good player.
"I'm glad they have given him the armband in the Youth Cup because that will give him more responsibility and he will need to be a real example to the other players. He's at the right club with the right people around him to guide him and to become a very important player."
Crowley has scored 10 times in 19 games for Arsenal's various youth sides this season, and will look to add to that tally when the under-18s meet Rosyton Town in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup on January 21. But it's his development off the pitch that has also caught Arteta's eye.
"He's definitely got the talent, and if you put that together with mental strength and the willingness to work hard, then you've got a great chance," he said. "That's what he needs to do.
"If you had asked me a few months ago if he was heading in the right direction, I wouldn't have been able to give you a certain answer. But now I can say I really like the way he has matured and grown up lately."

Re: Arsenal U23s & U18s Thread
Hayden, especially in terms of him being afforded opportunities to play as a defensive-midfielder, could have his chances limited by the impending arrival of Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw. A deep-lying midfielder, who, like Hayden, is also capable of playing at centre-back, Bielik is set to go straight into the first-team squad and could even make his first-team debut this campaign, but will probably have to wait until next season before becoming fully involved with Arsene Wenger’s side.
Another youngster set to join Arsenal’s academy is Martin Graiciar, a 15-year-old Czech striker who previously spent time on trial with the club. During that trial period Graiciar scored a hat-trick for the U16s and he is set to feature again at that level over the next few weeks before officially becoming a scholar at the start of next season.

Arsenal Under-21 centre back Semi Ajayi is currently undergoing trials with English Premiership side Sunderland.
Ajayi who joined Arsenal two years ago from Charlton Athletics is yet to be offered a new deal by the gunners and his current deal will run out this summer.
The Flying Eagles trainee failed to make inroads into the first team of Arsenal despite making his debut this season in a pre season friendly against Barnet.
However he is yet to make his competitive debut for the team but has appeared on the bench in Premiership and cup games for the gunners.

Good luck to him..
I am hoping Hayden makes it though.. we've not had a CB coming through the academy in forever..

His DM capabilities are also exciting. Would be devastated if we didn't extend Akpom's deal. Really want to have a homegrown and an Arsenal academy developed forward to come through.

MJ you do realize that it sounds like you want Akpom to play DM?

Honestly,Chambers needs to develop a lot before we can even consider as a backup for DM.He seemed to struggle when he played as DM recently.
IMO,he should concentrate more on becoming a dependable RB so that he can be our reverse Sagna in future, primarily a CB and occasionally a RB.

Club decide not to give Brooklyn Beckham a scholarship.
https://arsenalyouth.wordpress.com/2015/02/23/arsenal-decide-against-brooklyn-beckham-scholarship/
Romeo and Cruz Beckham still play for our U10s/U12s. Apparently Romeo is considered the most talented of the three brothers.
Also, our U18s continue to have a horrid season as they've just been dumped out of the FA Youth Cup by Crewe.

Not really surprising I guess.
Let's hope one of the remaining two makes it at Arsenal.
