Post goal Juventus looked good in their combinations, Pirlo in particular standing out for the away side. Of course, Vucinic will not suit such a pacy game while Tevez in his undying obsession with cleaning the European slate on his drought has cost Juventus in what were genuine chances to score and have his team mates do the same.

Given Giovinco's so far excellent performances in the Europa League, it is daft to see that Tevez is being deployed out of Conte's personal faith that he will end his drought; the Italian would work far better and compliment a deep Vucinic, rather than running through barn doors blindly like Tevez does.

It was shameful officiating not to give offside for Sevilla's first. I'm pretty sure Carrico himself was marginally offside before he even touches the ball, and when he does, Mbia is blatantly offside. Granted, it was the slightest of touches, but a referee and linesman in a cup semi-final really should be spotting those.

It's tough on Valencia as I thought they were the better side before that. Sevilla looked a bit disorganised and were vulnerable to Valencia's counters, of which there were plenty because Sevilla were careless with their passing going forward. The first half had a ridiculous number of turnovers, probably a result of both teams playing with a high tempo.

I loved Bacca's goal, though.

Key for Sevilla now is to not get carried away and concede an away goal.
