I genuinely have grown a deep dislike for Fletcher. I know it's not his fault he is so shet and that he is being picked, but frigging hell....he is absolutely sht. A proper liability for us.

i think in case of defense we are a tad unfortunate. its like a conspiracy. lawl.. all these defs getting injured at the same time. so as soon as they become alright we will be more solid. evans, jones and rojo back 3 with shaw and rafael on the two flanks wont be that bad. what we really need to now is to find a midfielder. fletcher and carrick as the 2 options wont simply be enough. and cleverly of course. we need at least a daley Blind to partner herrera or if di maria is coming, him. i am more worried about this midfield now than the defence.

Can we just bring on Januzaj

Without doubt, the worst United team in living memory.

Forget trying to get top 4 with this lot, let's hope we can try break into the top half.

Nothing, absolutely nothing about that 1st half display showed quality. Our potent players are starved off the ball, midfield is non existent, back 3 reemble a bunch of panicky clowns who are uncomfortable on the ball, our wing backs are the definition of mediocre.

Apart from a moment of 'wtf, how did that happen' goal, we haven't provided one moment of threat.

I think we need to stop playing this 3-5-2 formation. Trying to play Mata, RVP and Rooney is proving to be a hindrance to the team. We just dont have the players to fit them all in, and it neglects our two players who pace and can run at opposing players (januzaj/Welbeck).

We need to either drop RVP or Rooney.

One of the reasons we switched from 4-3-3 to 5-3-2 is because we don't have 'specialist wingers' yet Young and Valencia are still playing today

The 4-3-3 seems inevitable now, depends how long it will take LvG to stop being stubborn. Even with Moyes at least we were crossing it into the box. Today, absolutely nothing.

janujaz playing as a holding mid. another false move by lvg. should have subbed off mata and played him there. otherwise play him in place of rvp and play welbeck in place of young by subbing him off. this is totally wrong tactics. daaaamn!

Should have put Rooney at CM or Kagawa. Januzaj should not be playing there.

Rooney between 04-08 was lightening fast could actually run at players too. He's style of play was incredible back then.

phil jones is our motm in every single match we play now. someone whose positional sense is terrible and whose plus are only tackling and aggression (despite the fact that he cant be blamed for that and which obviously stemmed from constantly playing him out of position in the past). It speaks volumes about our team and its quality.

Right now, we'd normally be having all the ball and sending wave after wave of attack until we score. Instead, it looks 50-50

Jones's aggression is good in a back 3 because you need to defend the space and get tight to the attacker.
