Played GOW: Ascension on PSP

Watched all the boss kills so many times on youtube that I simply can't play it again

Struggling to feel the need to buy a Ps4 atm lol.

Got to the stage now where all I play is sports games smh.

I have become everything I hate, I have become RG.

Lol this year I was more busy with Uni so didn't and couldn't play as much. But Fifa13 was ridiculous in terms of playtime

I think I recorded it as 35 days gameplay time on seasons alone. Not including Manager mode

In all seriousness what will probably happen is a buy one around the release of Witcher 3, Batman etc etc and buy a load of sports games to satisfy my new found addiction.

Alright, I've completely exhausted the Destiny Beta and there's nothing left for me to do. So I'm going to give my recommendations for the three main types of people who will be playing this game, singleplayer fans, co-op fans, MP fans.

Singleplayer fans-Get some friends, cause this game can get boring quick if you're stuck doing missions on your own. The missions are easy enough that you can solo them, but dear god does it get stale. Don't even bother going into Explore mode either, it's mundane.

Co-op fans-This game is made for you. You and your friends will have a ball going through the story and doing strike missions together. Me and a bunch of mates went through The Devil's Lair strike mission, and bah gawd, what an adventure.

MP fans-LOL! Save your money brahs, this game isn't for you. I have no idea why Bungie even added PvP in this game, it's such an afterthought. It is not an exaggeration when I say that it's probably the worst PvP that I have ever played. It takes seen first, killed first to a whole new level. What an unbalanced piece of shit.

Overall thoughts:

As much as I enjoyed the co-op, I'm really having doubts about just how much content is going to be in this game. From what the dataminers have found, there seems to be only one region per planet, with Old Russia being Earth's. This worries me, since my mates and I burn through content, if the other 4 planets are like Old Russia, we'll be finished with the game in a week.

But alas, this is the big problem with MMO type games, unless you have an absurd amount of content at launch, within the first week you'll find yourself getting emails from people complaining about how they've done everything in the game and how they've reached max level and have the best gear.

The real danger is unless you address that issue and add more content, you'll find the number of people playing your game quickly dwindle as they move back to other games, and from what I gather from interviews, Bungie don't plan on releasing expansions for a long while after launch, so this could affect them really badly.

If you plan on getting this game I would advise you to get it near launch, because when the fall arrives and the big games come out, you might have problems finding games due to low population.

Thanks for the review Jonathan. Right now i'm not completely sure whether to get the game or invest in a Wii U

There aren't any games that really interest me on the PS4 in the coming months. (Unless MGS releases) The Wii U on the other hand has piqued my interest after spending the night at a friend's playing Mario Kart

if they're included in the PS4 release at launch I'll pick it up, haven't touched GTA since the second week it came out.

Btw, the Destiny Beta is open for everyone if you want to try it out.

The obvious number 1 problem with GTA Online is the matchmaking

Most of the game is the missions, whether is be TDM, capture the flag, standard capture etc etc. There's hundreds of game modes, but you simply can't get into a lobby with enough people, resulting in 2 man races and 3 2v1 tdms.

If you host one yourself, you can only invite 16 people at once. Which means unless 80% of complete strangers accept you're not getting a good lobby.

For those who think ODST was the testbed for Destiny:

I don't get it?

It's kind of disappointing that Destiny's scale is limited to solar system.
