From what I've read in the datamined beta files, this game is going to be much, MUCH, smaller than what Bungie were advertising at the start. I was expecting Skyrim in space from what they'd been saying about being able to explore the Sol system, now it seems we aren't even going to get a 1/4 of that.

I hope Bungie isn't holding shit back as DLC, but it's telling that they chose to announce the DLC and it's contents rather than telling us about the actual game, which they've done a terrible job of marketing, just goes to show where their priorities lie.

I swear to god if Activision has anything to do with this...who am I kidding, of course they do.

EA Announces New Subscription Service - EA Access - for Xbox One

Today EA announced their new subscription service, called EA Access. EA Access will appear exclusively on Xbox One, and will cost either $4.99 per month or $30 for a full year. The service will allow subscribers full access to various games. At launch this will only include Madden NFL 25, Battlefield 4, Peggle 2 and FIFA 14, but more will be added “soon”.

EA Access will also net users a 10% discount on all EA DLC and full games. Finally, subscribers will get trials for upcoming EA games up to five days before the general public. These trials allow saves from it to be copied over if you buy the game. This year, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA Live 15, Madden NFL 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition will all have these trials.

This isn't a good thing. It's an optional sub service. Let people decide for themselves if they want it or not. Stop being fanboys.

Look at Sony, trying to act as if they're looking out for their players whilst charging extortionate prices for their PS NOW rentals.

PS NOW is the reason EA Access isn't on PS4, if it was even offered at all, Sony know by having it on there it would eat into their PS NOW revenue due to its superior pricing and value. Just wait until Activision and Ubisoft create similar services of their own, Sony are going to have to fold or risk miss out on all the sweet money the subscription service will bring.
