Official: James Rodriguez to Real Madrid

What are you? Fan of Real Madrid or James? Cause if you are a Real Madrid fan, this shouldn't bother you. What matters is that the team is playing well and winning regardless of who's on the pitch.

As for James, you don't know what he needs to do? Well for starters he can start warming up when the coach asks him to and not ignore the police when they ask him to pull over.

Bale has been good to very good this season... James has not. And Isco is a better CM. Add to that, James isn't making it a hard decision.

For example, Zidane wanted James to come in for Bale but he didn't warm up properly... he just kind of walked there after a few mins and walked around. Zidane got mad and put Jese in.

James is going to have another thing coming if he thinks he can "out star" Zidane... Odegaard found this out the hard way too.

It's a possible scenario. Zidane loves Jese. He's the one that insisted for him to be promoted when Carlo got the job back in 2013.

What bothers me is having one of the best players in the world and not trying hard enough to incorporate him into the starting 11.

Bale has been good, I won't take that away from him. I would just like to see Hamez start in the midfield like he did under Carlo.

I don't think anybody questions his talent. The guy is one of the best players in the world. The problem is, if we want to incorporate him, two other players will have to be sacrificed. That or playing with two different lineups consistently, which given Z's Carlo-esque no-rotation-unless-injury-occurs policy, it's unlikely to happen.

Now with Bale out, I think he'll have his chance to impress, provided Z plays him where he's at his best.

If Cristiano is looking like a square peg in a round hole these days AND is still playing better than James, then Swaggarific James would need to reassess his opinion a bit. And unlike Cristiano, he ain't got the whole "legendary player" tag on his back so he is playing poorly and can't even use political clout.

To top it all off, he is being managed by Zidane, a bigger Madrid legend. I really admire the young man's talent. Just ridiculous skill but he is gonna have to improve or his time at the club would come to a very screeching halt.

Hans and Bayern have first dips though. RG I feel would waste my time with some hobo bid.

RM just need Zidane to pull James from his cloud by the time the big matches begin towards the end of the season. That's the key for RM this season anyway. We'll see how it unfolds in the coming weeks.

The last thing Madrid needs right now are players like James and Ozil .

He's no good -- send him to Liverpool.

He is much better than Ozil, just in the wrong enviroment, a Cavani's situation.

Let's be real. I love James but if there's one player in the world 'much better than Ozil' it's Messi -- and even then that's an exaggeration. Ozil is one of the best players in the world at what he does, and he takes a very odd amount of flak. Probably because of his face.

Özil is tremendously overrated, always carried by the actual difference makers in both Germany and Real Madrid. Arsenal will never win anything relevant if they expect the likes of Özil and Sánchez to lead the way.

I believe James is this kind of guy, he can lead a well built team to important things, but time is passing.

I liked James at the World Cup; honestly never seen any of him prior to that but from his performances at the World Cup I thought he was set to become the next big thing.

Seeing him at Real Madrid, he looks pretty damn average who on random games can be really good. But over the long haul, doesn't seem to hold his form consistently (in before his fans blame it on the coaches). In a #10, I'd want my player to get the ball and help distribute it to the forwards and open up plays. In that sense, I'd say Ozil is better than James. James is just a better finisher but when in form I'd say Ozil would be my choice for the 10 on my team.
Matter of fact, when Ozil was at Madrid I constantly praised him, and believed he was the key to that team and was someone that our team needed to shut down. I have zero sense of that with James.

James can't even receive ball, a basic skill that 12 years old have. hIs first touch is god awful, his passing sucks. I don't think he even considers himself a 10, more of a winger aka Griesman (at least in his mind). I believe he is a fraud!

He's not a scrub, stop with the knee jerk lol.

Last season he was considered one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe and had a legitimate case. Because he plays for a team who seem to have no idea how to use their best players properly doesn't mean he wouldn't excel elsewhere.

After all, pretty much all their midfielders have had periods of looking top quality in their careers and they all look like shite this season.
