There is absolutely no chance of Di Maria staying at Real Madrid, because despite just about everyone from all the players to the technical staff rating him very highly, Real Madrid have decided, primarily via their president Florentino Perez, that Di Maria cannot carry on at the club.

It is also thought that as soon as Di Maria confirms that he will become a United player he will write a farewell letter to the Madrid fans explaining the reasons for his departure.

yea we will bruh. lvg mentioned it as well. as long as he get a quality winger he will opt for a 4-3-3.

but that again takes us back to our original problemo.. who the heck are gonna be the 2 CMs. herrera is injured for some weeks. fletcher and cleverly next options :facepalm:

If the rumors are true, which they are probably not considering it's Ballague, I think what LVG is paying for is his great versatility. With di Maria LVG can play him in a 352 as a LWB or CM. Or he can sub a CB and convert this to a 433 or 442 where Di Maria can also play LW or RW. All with his trademark tireless running for 120 minutes and great technique.

Is comfortably the highest in the League. Top 4 should be the minimum target. That's a £280m starting lineup.

Except Carrick is out for another month and Herrera picked up a injury in training this week and is likely out a week or 2 so it will likely be Cleverley Fletcher unless we sign another CM

you dont sign Di Maria to play him left wing back.

I think LVG miss the players to deploy a proper 4231 or 433 with an elite wide player.
