Awful performance from Madrid after they went 2-0. Great example of complacency and they just lost it after Sociedad got their first goal.

There was no one to lead them on the pitch. Kroos-Modric was pathetic defensively. Marcelo and Carvajal(probably the worst player on the pitch) were out of position constantly and there was no one to cover for them.

Extremely disappointed with Benzema. Was terrible all match. Thought he would step up but he looked like he rather be at a shisha bar.

Isco was good and actually tried to restore the balance. But he was the only one doing that.

I said it previously this Madrid team lacks balance. The squad is assembled by someone who obviously doesn't know anything about team strategy and thinks fielding 11 attacking players will give him glorious wins.

I didn't watch the match but based on http://www.goallegacy.net/t36211p108-la-liga-2014-15-discussion#1294479, the team lacks any defensive power. Fielding two fullbacks who are suspect defensively and having no defensive midfield is astonishingly stupid. I know this is La Liga but maybe that comes from a lack of respect the big teams show to 'smaller' teams? Or perhaps a case of Madrid getting complacent after two goals?

But I stand firm when I say this is not a balanced team and will have trouble against certain oppositions. Especially in the Champions League.

yes, Di Maria was all that.Madrid will spend the rest of the season without a midfield.

No creative midfielder and no holding midfielder like Alonso. Cant wait for the classico.

Di Maria is a loss but not as much as Xabi is. By far our most important player. MT was right last year that we should have got Matic. Best DM in footy along with DDR by a fking mile

So that is a balance of -27 mil. Barca has a balance of some ~-75 mil. Of course they cant compete. Factor in the wages as well and you'll see that Cholo is totally right.
