ZAPATA! At least he's making an effort to stop Empoli from stomping them in their own stadium... unlike some other Napoli players.

DE GUZMAN! It's 2-2 now. Now the question is whether they can steal the 3 points. What a sub.

Yeah I agree honestly. Florenzi was definitely offside. How the linesman missed it, I really don't know.

Parma sold for only 5m Laughing Can't tell if that is net of debt or not, but it strikes me as very low. Doubt this will be a new "chelsea" though, we've seen too many of those false starts.

lol come on that's fan club picture and the camera angle is wrong, everyone said he was offside from commentators, experts to coaches. It's not wrong it happens from time to time.

Well 1st good new for Parma since the start of the season

http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2014/12/parma-set-to-be-taken-over-by-russian-cypriot-consortium/

Still don't know who is that but supposed to have oil back ground :coffee: hopefully it's not too late for the club to turn around.

Pretty sure they're getting relegated anyway

I mean apart from January prices being ridiculous anyway, who the hell are they gonna attract that you can say 'yeah they'll walk in the starting XI and turn them around'

I quite like Parma so hopefully it works out well and they can build towards some sort of EL place in the future but short term they're screwed tbh

The club will be deducted some points for being absolutely shitty financially but there are still several players which could be taken for 6 months loan like Giovinco, Pazzini or Zaccardo and some others. Anyways still have to wait for the new owner revealation & official statement, Parma fans have been hammered by wishful thinking a lots in the past.

I saw it in real time and saw the replays as well...for me, he was clearly offside. I feel bad for Sassuolo in that regard.

That said, it's on the referees to get that right. They didn't and we reaped the benefits from that. I won't complain too much.

For the first time in a while it looks like all Italian teams will pass the EL group phase. Inter are already 1st and Torino and Napoli have to play against teams who are already out of the tournament. Serie A's weakest link right now is Roma - hopefully they pass the CL group phases, but from a UEFA coefficient perspective it would be better for the league if they finish 3rd.

Basically we are going to play a 93-94-esque season , close to relegate , saved just in penultimate matchday for just a point but Uefa Cup winner with Dennis Bergkamp as top scorer :coffee:

Ok , stop dreaming

next matchday will be crucial for relegation battle :

Empoli-Torino
Chievo-Inter

We must not lose...
