Basically we are going to play a 93-94-esque season , close to relegate , saved just in penultimate matchday for just a point but Uefa Cup winner with Dennis Bergkamp as top scorer :coffee:

Ok , stop dreaming

next matchday will be crucial for relegation battle :

Empoli-Torino
Chievo-Inter

We must not lose...

I love Gervais, but I'm calling it right now....

If he starts this game in Genoa, he's going to make Mattia Perin either look very ordinary or exactly what he's touted to be: Buffon's heir.

Money's on the latter.

Vidal looked out of place throughout the game, Samp on the other hand seem like a force to be reckoned with this season.

Genova>Milan atm as Robes would put it

Toni always was a revelation to me . Not only from his Fiorentina times when i begun to recognise him , but later on too. He's one of those players few ever believed in and yet he still goes on doing his own thing. 300 goals , from where he started , is quite a huge landmark . Respect.

Nice goal too!

Roma and Juve within a point of each other, we have a title race Proud

And btw the race for 3rd is looking quite competitive, amongst many unexpected teams:

Milan has as a win less than Chievo in the last 5 games . smh

3rd place trophy looks like a joke as of now . Have we eveb won 2 games in a row since the first 2 games of the season ? At least Inter does worse Laughing

Yes , he's exactly that really . Di Natale is great , with every meaning of the word . Legend in his own right. Thankfully he didn't retire in the summer as he had wanted last season . It will be simply impossible for Udineze to replace him , when he finally decides to call it a day for good .

Till then , keep on scoring Toto you legend Proud

I hope we won't regret the fact to not sign Sinisa Mihajlovic in June ( if Mancini stays ) ... I liked the idea to take him in place of Mazzarri . Best Serie A manager this year imo.

Agreed , i've been impressed with Mihajlovic this season. Last season i didn't rate him tbh , though i guess since he took over in the middle of the season , it's only fair if he didn't work wonders .

Doing more than i expected with Sampdoria , certainly. Now , as for Inter , Mancini or Mihajlovic. I think only time will tell. In any case , it's safe to say Mihajlovic will certainly be a top candidate when Mancini leaves Inter again , whenever that happens.

I think he would be the first choice in that case
Mihajlovic got good result everywhere imo , saved Catania when it was goingo to relegate Pulis-esque ( nay not same miracle, but it seemed a sure relegated in January )   , almost done same thing with Bologna ( he didn't deserve to be sacked) , I've revalued his experience in Firenze ... not great, but Delio Rossi made worse in following year (Fiorentina close to relegate) and Sinisa didn't have Jovetic..
anyway his best things in Sampdoria.. Not just work rate but also good football , and Sampdoria played a match of great personality against Juve today ... made also last year

I don't know how league will evolve now they are going to sell Manolo Gabbiadini to Napoli.
They are going to sign Joaquin Correa ( Estudiantes ) in place of him .
But I think Sinisa knows what he must do , on the other hand Okaka ... I ' m still convinced he is a scrub lol

nice post Robes. Agreed about Okaka . Idk , i just never seem to have rated Mihajlovic. I was probably wrong as it seems , he works wonders with Sampdoria . Best Sampdoria since 2009 , maybe?

Yes ,Sampdoria got the 4rd place under Del Neri in 2010 , but it was for Cassano ( probably his best season in career .. and Lippi didn't call up him, Rossi or Balotelli for Iaquinta etc Laughing ) and Pazzini ( his best season ever too , scored even 21 goals).
This team hasn't same individualites but it is more " team" imho.
On the other hand that Sampdoria collapsed in Serie B in following year when Cassano and Pazzini went away in January..

About Cassano, Gazzetta wrote some days ago he is going to leave Parma surely in January.
He wants Sampdoria but Sinisa said Cassano will be never a Sampdoria player under him .
It's more probable Torino or Fiorentina.

Same. I was absolutely right about Jack from before we signed him. By way of miracle, he went to us instead of Inter. One thing is for sure, Bonaventura's arrival at Milan is Zaccardo's greatest contribution to the club.

Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi's sale of Parma to a Russian-Cypriot conglomerate is to be formally announced today.

The businessman's sale of the Italian club had already been announced last week and the completion of the deal is now imminent.

According to La Gazzetta di Parma, Ghirardi met with the new buyers yesterday evening to iron out the last details and is moments from signing the new deal.

The names of the new owners had so far been kept secret, with no details revealed, apart from their nationalities. Their identity will be revealed before the end of the day.
