Like most of our signings these days, the opinions are widely divided. While I'm not exactly exhilarated by his signing, I guess we should get behind the player (and team) and keep our fingers crossed. £34m is a king's ransom and I do feel The Saints have made another killing, even in the best case scenario.

While his goal-scoring prowess has been vouched by some mates, I don't think he would be much prolific. However, he would give better returns than other options we currently have and, darting in from the wide ares, he would bring a different dimension to our games.

He is a good player but the price is probably causing doubts in many.

You needed goals from the wide areas so he will provide that. Will also inject pace which is required in Klopp's system

The price doesn't matter. Money is no object for PL clubs at this point.

Now that he's officially, getting excited as to what he can bring to our team.

If Klopp thinks he's got a place, then I'm relatively happy.

Watched him last season extensively in one of the only first half of a southampton match I watched.

he looked like a hybrid of Figo and Ronaldo.

A simple look at his heat maps from last season completely disproves what you're saying here. He spent the vast majority of his time out wide last season. I want my wingers to be able to cut in so that's not a negative either, he can pick out a good final pass and is two footed. The eye test also confirms. What are you on about sir?

So just to be clear...that image shows Milan finished 7th while getting less points, scoring less goals, and doing nothing in Europe or any other cup competition.

With Mane in, I don't think there would be another signing for the attacking role. So what would be our optimum line-up???

Klopp doesn't play 4-3-3, you know that. It's gonna be 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1.

Or something. It's tough because, again, Coutinho-Firmino-Lallana all want to play in the middle, and we have Sturridge, Ings and Origi among others all looking to get time.

Coming 7th in Serie A is like coming 15th in the premier league.

Anyways Mane is clearly the spark in the team, He'll be missing 1.5 months in the second most crucial period of the season ie AFCON.
