Because like a lot of unwanted overhyped players that get moved during the summer he's not that good.

Man Utd ready to move for Arsenal defender Vermaelen, according to the Guardian. Arsenal would prefer to sell him abroad, with Barcelona apparently interested. Wenger could ask for Smalling as part of the deal.

Stay safe Gil and Kick
I'm not mad, I am saddened, obviously.
At the end of the day, it's going to be a tiny loan before the season starts, so he'll play like max 10 games?
Will barely even notice he is here, certainly won't put the smallest of dents in his status at Chelsea.

I like Musacchio. Don't think he's of the level of CB's that the other EPL top teams have but he's still developing, and Spurs really can't afford to have a CB of that quality due to the lack of class CB's and Spurs don't have the same attraction. Vertonghen-Musacchio with Chiriches fighting for Mussachio's spot and Kaboul backing Spurs up will be enough. Fryers and Capoue could deputise if there was ever a CB injury crisis.
Means the end of Tottenham for Dawson however. I am thankful for his service but happy to let him go as he isn't good enough anymore. Could do it at a lower EPL club perhaps, he's still a beast in the air.
Mussachio more than anything means that Lamela will get another bud in the squad though. Argentine bud, Argentine manager :')
Spurs need a LWF and then I think the team is complete and will only need minimal changes in the coming years. Which I hope happens. Stability is needed from now on.

Isla is one of those that werent lucky to come back from a ACL injury, he was on a nice career path before that. Juve took a risk and it didnt work out for them, too bad.
Meanwhile, AS not letting go of the falcao story.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfers Rumours Mk.VIII
Anyway there is an unwritten rule in Italian football : being wary about Udinese players.
Most of them , even those whio seem very good, hardly repeat same performances in other teams
Isla is one of those, and I think this could be also without injury , also because he gave his best as mezz ala, not as winger

The last point that Robes brings up is particularly important, as many still seem to regard Isla as a wingback when his greatest impact came as a central midfielder where Basta provided the width. Isla has suffered not only a massive injury but also a significant drop in confidence as he recovered in a team where he was not already established and struggled for game time in a position that limits his play. In Conte's Juventus, it is imperative that the wingbacks stay on the flanks as they are the only true source of width in the team which effectively turned Isla into a cross merchant. In midfield, his intelligent movement, link-up and energy come to the fore, but as a winger he's rather pedestrian. It's sad that he is unlikely to get a chance to reach his previous level.

The last details of the loan deal could be taken care of by tomorrow, QPR has defeated Marseille in the race for Isla. Bielsa, the coach of the French club, holds Isla in high regard.
