I'm just going to say it right now. Prediction time.
Arsenal will win the league.
You can quote me on that.

Taider is at Soton on loan from Inter. Don't think he's moving anywhere.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V2
Premier League Week 3
Burnley v Man Utd
Can't see United dropping points for the 3rd time in a row. With Di maria, they will have more energy and more drive. RVP should be more fit as well.
Going with 3-1 United.
Man City v Stoke
Easy home win. Most likely 4-0
Newcastle v Crystal Palace
Going with a Newcastle win. Palace are not exactly in the best of positions. Cabella to have a stormer. 2-0
QPR v Sunderland
This is unpredictable. I think Sunderland are better on paper but QPR are at home. Could end in a draw but I am going with an away win. 2-1 to Sunderland
Swansea v West Brom
Swansea have started brilliantly. Their defence specially has been very solid. I hope they can continue with another win. 2-0 to Swansea.
West Ham Vs Southampton
Another unpredictable match. Southampton impressed against Liverpool and WBA. But they are still fixing things after the summer exodus. West Ham were very good against Palace and Zarate is picking up form. I don't know how this will go but let's say a home win. 1-0 to West Ham
Everton v Chelsea
The best match of saturday. Chelsea don't really do well at Goodison, like most top teams bar Liverpool. Lukaku if fit will be looking to prove a point to Jose. While Chelsea have been excellent so far in their matches against Burnley and Leicester. This might not be a high scoring match because Jose will be reserved while Martinez will play tactically to avoid counters.
1-1 for me but Home team has a bigger chance of winning

Newcastle and scoring goals
I predict we'll lose and I hope we do, the more pressure put on the idiot the better.

That United team has no balance. Will probably end up in a high scoring win for them

Burnley are favourites to go down so even a spectacularly shit performance from Man U should see them scrape a win.

Mata - Fletcher - Di Maria, never thought I'd see a midfield like that.

I'm with you, Art. I simply cannot believe he's playing Di Maria in one of the deeper positions, much less dropping Herrera to do so.Art Morte wrote:Mata - Fletcher - Di Maria, never thought I'd see a midfield like that.
Let me reiterate: United have replaced their £28.5 million signing with their £60 million ( £70 w/add-ons) signing. Yep... that's a sustainable model. Good transfer window!

Yeah, Herrera's out with an injury.
Valencia though utter trash. And he has a new contract
Van Gaal did say give him 3 months though..... hoping that it pays off
Until then, we'll be garbage

I can't believe how little United created against Burnley, Heaton had to barely make a save. I don't know what Mata was doing all game, certainly not linking the midfield with the attack. A sweet result. That easy start to the season for United

yea mata is playing as a striker high up the pitch. thats why he isnt creating anything meaningful. Hopefully it will be addressed soon.
