lol.... Monaco beat Leverkusen both games. I actually want them to lose to Zenit so they go to Europa where they have a fighting chance at least. Better for Ligue 1 UEFA coefficient to win Europa games as opposed to getting destroyed in CL elimination round...

Odds are they'll draw Zenit tho so I can see them through to the latter stages. Monaco seem like terrible grinders tho. If a club far better than them plays them then they'll lose easily I feel. Sad

Monaco didn't have Carvalho, Kurzawa or Kondogbia either... you know, Jardim is a pretty good manager. For the first 2 months of the season, the players were shell shocked with the project going down the toilet. They expected to compete with PSG for Ligue 1 and have high ambitions. Instead, it's a bunch of 20 year olds with 4-5 veterans. But once they were able to swallow the disappointment, they are now playing like a team.

They will not be easy to beat.

Yeah Jardim is earning his spot, atm. The young players are responding as well. Really impressed with Carassco Ferreira & Ocampos upfront. Martial is a very nice prospect too Germain's OK and we have Berba to set the best example to them. Carvalho at the back also commands respect.

Falcao & James really hurt Monaco at the start. That was expected. Now Monaco are moving on.
