4-5-1 in general

4-1-4-1, mostly because I love playing in that defensive midfield destroyer role, but also it's, in my experience, the best shape to completely lock down games defensively late in the match.

4-3-3 is just so versatile and with good CMs you can play how you want... needs class fullbacks, though.

4-2-3-1 is also very flexible, and having the choice of playing 3 AMFs is great.

You're gonna need some new CBs for that sort of formation...

I like 3-4-1-2. Really like wing backs who at their best can be deadly attacking and clinical at defending. You've also got the centre exploited by the AM.

2nd favourite would probably be 4-diamond-2 as I appreciate a good DM.

no it doesnt.you need players who can track back,have a good work rate + 2 great dms.

I wanted to mention this but track back and workrate are the two things which is usual in every formation. so there is no need to mention them. pressure is also needed in this formation.

4-2-3-1 is just so dynamic and works in most situations. I also concluded that this would be the best formation for Real Madrid, last summer, before Mou started using it. Very Happy
