So is Pardew still the worst manager of all time?

Well not quite because Pardew is gone, I can now see light at the end of the tunnel even if I'm moving slowly towards that light than I'd actually like.

Because of that I actually wanted to win this weekend lol which hasn't happened in ages.

Is the basic tendency of the board to wait out the season to get a new coach, or would they rather get someone in sooner?

Because if they're looking at coaches from out side the PL the first might be the way that makes more sense.
Don't think any good prospect manager who's never coached in the PL would be wise to start in midseason without any time to prepare, training camp, etc. It can go wrong too easily.

I'm not sure what the board's motive is I do know that it seems like more options are available if we wait till the summer though.

advantage you have over Everton tho is a much bigger ground and probably a larger fanbase worldwide making you a lot more attractive from a marketing perspective.

Tottenhams advantage is strictly being based in London.

lol both I guess But former is more likely since they can probably make do with what they have but only to a point.

I don't think it's a problem tbh as most foreign managers are used to working under a similar set up anyway.

I think the restrictions are way overblown anyway as well, everyone talks about how poor Pardew always had his players sold.

Carroll for 35m (would have to been an idiot to turn that down), Ba ( had a release clause in his contract so pretty unavoidable),  Cabaye (ok this one was bullshit)  and Debuchy.

4 players during his entire time, Southampton sold more in one summer lol.
