Seriously, full backs clearly enjoy playing against Bale since they know exactly what he is gonna do. He gets the ball and takes an eternity to put it on his left foot which btw they already close down any real channels and use his physicality to try to cut inside. Notice I said try as it really looks like he is trying his hardest to cut inside.

Which essentially looks like a ox trying to ballet and does basically nothing except recycle possession in non dangerous areas. Mind you, he has little success on the left either.

Was carried in the CL final last season. Absolutely anonymous in the most important match for Madrid this season. That's exactly what it looks like.

Remember it like it was yesterday when he was pretending to be the biggest die hard Madrid fan on here.

This level is too high for him to play the way he plays. I think someone yesturday in a different thread said he is trying to play like a technical player and I agree, he tries to look technically good when its not needed, From Marcelo to the midfield and forwards Bale is the least gifted of them technically, if you exclude Hernandez.

He should play like Walcott if anything, forget about getting on the ball and just make runs behind and diagonal. Finish when you get the chances inside the box, forget these long shots and rubbish "play making". At this level, the best he can do is use his speed when the defence isnt aware of him, and thats off the ball.

The road to last year's UCL final was a team effort Agger. Di Maria, Modric, Pepe, Ramos, Benzema, Ronaldo, Alonso all contributed significantly in their own ways. To say Ronaldo got carried is akin to saying Benzema got carried by Ronaldo's goals. Which he scored 16 before the final mind you.

tbh we already have CR doing that, that why the 442 looked so great compared to the 433, bale and cr on the pitch makes us a lot weaker, can't have 2 of your front 3 being so useless on the ball we can only afford cr doing that

well at some point you have to concede that it's not the players fault he is starting and playing. What is he supposed to do, sub himself off?

Yup. Meanwhile I was on the Sack Moyes campaign before he'd even been officially presented.

EDIT: But in our defense Madrid fans would've burned the place down if faced with a season like ours last term. And our support was mostly very positive. So positive they nearly gave this old timer a heart attack...

it really wasn't. We had bunch bigger, atleast 3 headers were bigger chances. Bale's miss from CR cross.
