Rafa is going to ask Bale to track back or he will bench him without a second's thought... so he better shape up. Rafa is nowhere near as nice as Carlo.

Kept reading Nick saying that he'll track back when he joined, was never happening.

I knew Carlo wouldn't do anything of the sort because of how he treated the star players at PSG... Ibra could do whatever he wanted and Sakho got benched because Silva preferred Alex. Menez got benched when Lucas Moura came and Menez was having a very decent year until then while Moura was lost. Heck, Beckham started a few games over Motta and Verratti Laughing

Carlo definitely has hierarchies. Rafa, not so much...

don't know I didn't watch the game. but I think bale plays through the center for wales.

I watched the game and Bale played mostly through the middle. He would switch flanks, pretty much had a free role.
