Mole your team was robbed
We were so flat and looked like never scoring until Krul felt sorry for us and 'gifted' us a goal.
Big win regarding how our rivals' results went tonight.

Really wish we'd scored earlier as I think we would have run the score up a bit if we had. We desperately need a boost to goal difference as we still lag behind and the other sides challenging for top 4 just aren't dropping points.
Yea Dyche has given them great mentality. If they had a slightly better squad then they would at least finish 15th or a bit higher. They can still escape but it doesn't seem likely

We'd absolutely put at least 4 past them. Bring on March 22nd.
You lot are nothing special. Calm down.
We'll batter you worse than the 3-0 at OT.

Yep for me Sean Dyche made a half miracle. Burnley had to do as Derby County 2008 on paper.
Burnley was always a tough opponent for every team , very organized, it was impossible to pretend more from a team who might be the worst team ever to be gone in Premier League.
It was enough shameful the attitude by Burnley management.
You are a terrible team , you go in Premier League, and don't you spend ?
If Dyche got decent signings he would have saved these scrubs.

for some reason I like their team !! I think they play with their lungs out there. I think the manager is also good.
We cant afford to lose points before Utd visit. It is necessary that LVG comes with his lame tactics to draw against us so that it will be easy for us to have a go at them.

Nah. Swansea are safe and on the beach. They also play open football and hate being pressed. We should be fine there.
Man Utd vs. Spurs next round. Hope Spurs make it 3 wins in a row at OT.

Everton fans are starting to get worried. Obviously they won't get relegated, but they are awfuly close to being 17th at least.

Don't underestimate sides with the talent of United, regardless of current form. A big match can bring out the best in players who are otherwise playing poorly, especially players like Rooney and Fellaini who have a bit of personal edge to it as well. LVG, for all his faults, knows how to get results in big matches (though perhaps not consistently) so don't write them off by any means.
Long way to go yet.

Everton are SOO lucky that Leicester/QPR/Burnley can't buy a win these days. It's outstanding that Everton have won 1 of their last 15 PL games, yet are somehow still not in relegation zone.

On another topic, how bad are LFC's set pieces? Corners in particular seem utterly worthless for us... would almost rather have a throw-in. Perhaps though I'm just spoiled from our success last Spring.

That's very true. With that kind of luck, they can fluke wins while being atrociously bad against any team, so the notion of a tough fixture run doesn't really apply to them.

Not entirely new for Martinez though, didn't he practise a similar move already at Wigan?

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V8
it was one of the better performances actually. 3 sure goals were saved (2 from fellaini, 1 from young) by krul, rooney slotting past a sitter wide of krul. Newcastle had a penalty not given and a golden opportunity missed by Cisse. If all the chances were taken it would have been a 4-2 or 4-3 (if we include ddg's performance) win for us. We dominated the game as a matter of fact in a rather unattractive way. Also newcastle didnt really wanted to win the match. They were parking the bus. Feel sorry for Mole, man. Carver is embarrassing, really.
These people here had their matches to watch and only saw our fluke goal and as expected assumed we were lucky again.
The thing we lack right now actually is the tempo and urgency. And that might be down to lvg's philosophy of playing safe with possession. Dont have a plan B. Thats the big flaw. Its only possession and more possession.

Henderson today though
Somehow managed to be better than Sunday. Amazing goal, fantastic assist, and some through balls that were like prime Gerrard

Not sure what maths you're using, but 17th and 11th are not in the top half of the table (nor is 6th in the bottom half).
At let's be completely fair if we're taking such a small sample size for Martinez; his record so far matches up pretty evenly with Moyes's first couple of seasons in charge.
