And I'm telling you that noone will 'scapegoat' MW for us going out.
I don't know where you get the idea from since I'd suspect noone has actually done that, other than Rummenigge apparently lol.

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
Because it stings to read the truth, doesn't it? The truth that your messiah is ruining your club. You'd have been better off with the Iron Tulip. Probably even Trap.
I'm pushing it now. I freely admit Klinsmann was worse than Pep though. I don't even think Pep is that bad at what he's doing, I just think what he's doing is not worth being done. I think the style he's trying to instill is dated, and his adherence to it causes inflexibility that will sink Bayern back to where they were when they hired LvG: respectable, usually winning the BL, but not the club that is feared in Europe.
You just got too many fragile midgets. And I don't mean for them to be replaced by clumsy pure destroyers; but with Schweinsteiger being injured all the time, Martinez still not being back... Well, Thiago isn't filling those shoes.
I just think losing players like Mandzukic, Gustavo, and Kroos cost Bayern a kind of flexibility they utterly miss now. They showed a glimpse of flexibility and tactical adaptation in the league match against Dortmund, but then right again when it really counted they showed the fragility I always see in Peps system, and they got their asses handed to them.
Pep might even be a great coach somewhere. I just don't think he fits Bayerns identity. That final 2 or 3% possession he's craving over Jupp is doing them in, it's cost them so much stability, flexibility, and balance, it's ridiculous.

The thing is, the situation I'm in with you and Pep is similar to being a leftie in the US.
I'd actually see the need for a thorough discussion about where Obama is coming short and so forth, instead I'm having to spend precious time fending off ridiculous shit how he's a Marxist Islamist Atheist Kenyan who's out to destroy American exceptionalism.

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
So you're saying we should probably be discussing if Pep should've gone for a Single Payer model, and if his message of international reconciliation is undercut by his drone program and rampant NSA spying, instead of me telling you how he's the Antichrist trying to install Death Panels?
Because I can dig that, and repeat that while Pep is not a horrible coach, he lacks width and perspective, and his strict adherence to his narrow philosophy is limiting a club that possesses a squad that could basically play each and every style known to football experts, yet is forced to only perform the one trick: possession?
And now Müller-Wohlfarth quit - thanks, Obama!

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
lol.
I'm in a bad mood as you can imagine so my patience is wearing thin, that's why I chose to insult you in the BuLi thread.
Epecially since I'm tired of the snipers (not just you) pouncing on when things go wrong, like kicker's Karl-Heinz Wild or whatshisface, even though they had nothing to say when we win the league every year in record fashion.
But I'll give an real answer to your longer post later.

Exactly lol.
Although the analogy only carries so far as Obama is undoubtedly an infinitely worse and more indefensible president, from a lefties point of view, than Pep could ever be a flawed coach from the view of a Bayern fan.

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
Rather you like him or not the fact is he was hired full well knowing what direction he would take the club, so its funny that people feel the need to bash him very chance they get, but Bayern knew exactly what they were getting into.
This whole talk about the squad can do more or can offer more is irrelevant. Bayern in 11-12 season went trophyless and lost a CL final at home, next season they added Martinez, Mandu and Dante and did well, but considering those were the only addition to be added whats the excuse for Bayern failing the previous season? Pep doesn't have Robben, Ribery, Martinez, Schewni, Alaba and people will say this squad can still do more, so shouldn't that squad back in 11-12 have done more?
Also by that logic this season were able to grind results out, play on the counter or possession. Does that mean we are better then how we (Barcelona) were under him? Or are was he the reason of holding us back?
At the end you may feel he isn't the right fit, but clearly the club did and a man who had won 18 of possible 25 titles (I believe) I'd assume some what knows what he's doing. It gets irritating that people bring up certain results to justify their points (Madrid game, Wolfsburg, Porto). Yes, they are big games, but doesn't mean a team should be judged off that only.

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
I just want to point out that I also bashed Bayern for hiring him, and for selling Kroos, as well as for selling Mandzukic, and Gomez, and Gustavo.
I'm not really about how shit Pep is, though that point has a place in most debates as well, but that he doesn't suit Bayern, and the direction he's taking Bayern in hasn't made them better.

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
I read that Bayern have never overcome a two-goal deficit in the CL knock-out stages, but their goals for-against at home in the CL this season are 13-0. Sounds like a veeeeeery delicious setting for this match.

Re: CL QF: Porto - FC Bayern
This is what I meant btw, I already agree with how Bayern play, so Pep did something I like: Müller and Götze cutting inside a lot, width mostly being provided by the fullbacks, this works a lot better than having Müller and Götze try their luck on the touchlines, they suck on the flanks.
Bayern looking very sharp like this.
PS WTF goal number 2, you go Boateng, you magnificent bastard!

Bayern winning now on away goals, hope Porto score to make things more interesting but I always saw Bayern as going through.
