Second yellow was soft, Ramos kicked the bottom of Turan's boot, good acting by Ramos. Played well all game as well. Varane and Pepe excellent.

That's a yellow card every day everywhere. Don't know the English term but in German it's called "drüberhalten".

The amount of times there were yellow worthy tackles and he let it pass without showing a card was astonishing. I even thought Arda would get away with it ffs

Regarding the football though, was never really worried about conceding. Atleti came for a draw or to sneak a win via a set piece or set piece v2 (throw ins). Offensively we could've done better but when you start 3 cbs you know your coach wants a clean sheet first and foremost and we got that so happy with how it turned out

We outplayed them over both legs.. I'm happy they didn't get a cheap victory, one of the dirtiest teams in Europe

This is not La Liga, just because you roll around on the pitch doesn't mean the opponent gets carded.

Bunch of playacting pricks, both teams should be banned from European competitions for their antics tbh.

So this is the 3rd ko round match in a row I can recall Real Madrid have an opposing player to thank. Arda joins Nani and Mkhitaryan in the Real Madrid hall of roflstomped.

Although I do agree there was a great deal of play acting from our team I have to say there were alot of elbows and highkicks, cleats high tackles by them and even when Saul and Ramos pushed each other he failed to show a yellow (probably because he knew Ramos would miss the semis )

I was just surprised he was so anti cards. I am probably used to the card happy laliga reffs though

If you choose a very strict one in Real-Atleti, and actually follow through, I guess it ends 5 men against 6 or something.

Have to say though, I've seen much more dirty encounters between you two, this was kind of civilized.
